I apologize for the late announcement, during the downtime on Saturday the issue with the Salvage Drone skill was resolved. In short, those that had trained the Salvage Drone skill received the skill points (and levels) back, untrained skill books that were removed when the skill was disabled were returned to the character's home station, and the GMs will be handling instances where the skill books were involved in open contracts.
At the present, the skill does not have an effect within EVE, the skill will have an impact if/when Salvage Drones are introduced as a feature.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the disabling of the skill with the Rev 1.4.4 patch.

Now if only evemon didnt give me that pop up about it everytime it loads up *sigh* ☼☼☼ Don't even THINK about it rookie...I have all my capacitor and more hit points than you can POSSIBLY imagine. ☼☼☼

I applaud CCP for this announcement and action, even though I was not in anyway impacted by this skill/event. The acknowledgement of and effort to make an equitable resolution is good customer service and warrants comment. -AS |

I'm still waiting for my copy of the book back. I had it on contract but there were no bids (that I know of). I haven't been contacted by a GM yet though I understand that books on contract at the time of there removal were being handled by GM's. Any idea how long that should take

Please submit a petition about the skill book. The GM team will get the book back to you.
