I cant find good detailed info on the Survey drill chart anywhere.... so what im doing is makeing p2's.
i have 4 basic factories and 2 advanced... so i need to mine 12000 of each resorce to make 80p1 an hour of each resorce and then to make 10p2 per hour..
i have comand center 4 now and i wanna get as close to extracting 12000 R0 as posible but i keep geting over are under by alot.. most ppl will say just pick up the R0 more often but im trying no to do that. my planets are geting filled up with R0 the p1 to p2 is working fine but that survey curve is hard to figur out i can make it longer and then the final drill will get 12000 but the ones befor it will be so high that they fill up the planet befor hand....
as of right now what im doing is just stoping the drills and leting the planet catch up.... but whats happening is that i get a bunch of resorces at first then by the time it hits 12000 my planet is fulllll.....
please help me.
Ps; the reson that i dont wanna travle to my planets alot is becuse there in a (wh) with an alt parked in there so i would have to scan it down and then go in there so i wanna make one trip to nice ripe planets............!!!!!!1 |

Use silos or multiple launchpads if you extract too much stuff. |

You have to use a buffer. Your extractor yield is an average across the entire program - you will harvest a lot more at the beginning of the program and that is wasted unless you have buffer storage,
You should be able to route everything through a Launchpad. Have your extractors route to the Launchpad, then route the P0 from the Launchpad to your basic factories. Route P1 back to the Launchpad and out to the advanced factories. Finally route the P2 back to the Launchpad.
Don't expect 100% yield. Deposits deplete over time and respawn - but not always within reach of your colony! |

Thanks ill use a silo in the middle of my base then |

As far as the storage of p0 and p1 I would route them back into the same silo and just send the p2 to a separate silo or launch pad.
I need to get my pi back up and running right. I fell out of eve when my computer died and I had my pi running pretty good. And now that I'm back I need to sit and figure my old routes and processes, I had a planet that was very short of one p1 so I took the excess from another planet to that one.
I used to enjoy doing Pi but I been out so long and my colony are all setup already and it's not as much fun to work a already setup system.

thank you ill try that i really need to get cc 5 then cuse at this point in time geting the 2 advance factories going means i can only have one launch pad for storage and everthing

There are 3 numbers. You will see an estimate before you submit your program. Actual after. Estimate and actual will converge as your planetology and advanced planetology skills improve. Aim for level 4 - 5 isn't worth the time it takes.
3rd number is current cycle output in the extractor control unit info pane. This is the number that matters - less than 3000 and your basic factory will have to wait. More than 3000 and the excess is wasted unless you have somewhere to store it.
You can buffer everything through a Launchpad unless you are extracting a lot more than you are processing - in which case the P0 will accumulate. Otherwise each processing step reduces volume. 3000 P0 (30m3) reduces to 7.6m3 of P1 and 30.4m3 of P1 reduces to 7.5m3 of P2

Your lines might be too long taking too much power and CPUs. Also make sure ur upgrading ur command centers.
And if you have too many heads going at once. I may not be making the big ISK but I only have half my drilling heads going. PLUS, with lots of heads going and lots of p0 being moved, u have to upgrade your long pipes to carry it all from the heads.

Hummm how much p0 can go though the lines.... |

I've never paid any attention to the "curve". I've never found a need to.
An example:
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4252398#post4252398
Beware of synchronization issues that can lead to lost product, or idle factories. The rules of proper routing:
1. All routes must begin or end on some sort of buffer (command center, storage, spaceport).
e.g. Extractor > Storage > BIF > Storage > AIF > Storage
2. If a factory depends on another factory, then the dependent factory MUST have its input buffer filled at all times. If it starts-off empty, you will have idle factory cycles. "Priming" (adding material to start the factory AND then fill the buffer) is necessary.
3. NEVER try to route less than the maximum amount possible.
4. Keep links as short as possible. Avoid planets larger than 25,000 km (typically large gas planets). Barren planets tend to be the smallest, so can have the shortest links, therefore are ideal for factory planets (more factories). |

With a really simple setup, I just reconfigure my factories if there is an excess of something, or temporarily move it to extra storage, or the POCO. It is extremely rare that I have to do that. See what im trying to do is all my pi stuff is in a wh with and alt in there i just wanna make one trip in and get my full pi 10000m3 of p2 and be done but the problem is that if i set the drills up to run for 2 days on 12000p0 per hour then the launch pad gets full becuse only the last cycle of the drills is going to give 12000 p0 all the other cycles are going to be higher |
