-For me it's hands down the "Clear all content" button for local chat. The only thing that would be better is if had an auto function when leaving Jita!
-Buy all for ship fittings. I used to have linked lists in my notes that I would individually right click and "view market details".
-The navigation lines in space showing your route. Its a little thing but it makes the universe more real knowing that the stars I see in the sky are the actual stars of New Eden.
I'm sure there's nothing better than those 3. |

Pretty hard to say. Eve is a very different game from what it was 11 years ago. I'd have to say highlighting your orders in blue in the marketplace.
Edit: Wait, it has to be Warp to Zero. CCP didn't have to let us keep our insta bookmarks. They could have easily just deleted them and banned any bookmarks within 200km of gates. They didn't. Imagine the game where every single ship, from Interceptor to Rorqual to Freighters had to slowboat 15km whenever they wanted to use a gate or dock. |

On a side note with warp, they should just let AP warp to zero and be done with it. There would still be bumping and camping. |

I liked the time CCP took that complex mechanic and turned it into an ez-button to open it up. I used to feel so superior about myself, but now knowing anyone with functional eyes and hands can do the complex thing, I think eve will be even better.
Oh or better, how about the time CCP fixed that pointless mechanic that was adding zero fun at the expense of effort? I admit I wanted things to stay the same initially, but now that things are easier I find it all so much easier! Thanks CCP!

Tisiphone Dira wrote:The new neocom icons The new skills/queue interface Industry teams This is a confusing post. At first blush it's straight sarcasm.
But that would mean the poster actually liked the original neocom icons! I mean the original weird shit where you had to look at an icon for five minutes and then go: "Oh right, they are stick dudes in lab-coats looking at futuristic screens - this must be science and industry!".
The old neocom icons sucked balls. Good riddance!
Now, as the twat that completed a full set of instas for the Metropolis region about 4 days after their release by some other bastard, my money goes to warp to zero. Seriously, just look at Metropolis on Dotlan. It hurt - it was a massive fecking undertaking that earned me feck all.
The skill queue gets a medal, as does session change reduction.

Dessie buff in Crucible.
I'd made a new mining alt back then and put the new pilot in a Osprey (still a mining cruiser back then) just for fun in the middle of my mining ops while he was training for barges.
Turned out this was a gank magnet for all those gankers wanting to try out the new dessies. They didn't care to scout, just saw a new toon in a most likely yield fitted Osprey, warped into the belt and raced for the Osprey.
Too bad I always train for T2 tank first and actually fit one. Together with the Orca shield boost ehp was well above 20k. Busy days for Concord .

Tiericide. Hasn't been perfect and already some of the goodness that came from Crucible and Retribution are lost. But before tiericide there was only a couple ships anyone flew. Sabres, Drakes, and maybe a Ceptor or two. Having ships with more sharply defined fleet roles and *some parity between them, led to a far more diversified fleet landscape. There will always be a core 'meta' that large fleet organizations will favor (usually because it has some stat that can be exploited till CCP takes notice) but today many more ships are viable for any given content or fleet role than when I started playing. Also, while not every race can be 'best' in any given ship class or fleet role, you can play as a single race more easily now than ever before. My skills are a mess of this and that from years of 'chasing the meta' all over New Eden. But today you could even skip the empires altogether and fly only non-empire ships lines.
UI/Overview fixes. These often go uncelebrated but over the years the UI has gotten far far better. The new map took getting used to but is highly functional. Many functions have been made more efficient and UI customization has increased to suit one's specific needs. Sharing an Overview is incredibly useful, especially to new players.
Citadels. I don't even know much about them because I am just a lowly grunt. But they are changing the very core of Eve and that is a good thing, IMO. It's an evolution in progress and it's exciting to see the currents and eddies of how the game flows over time.

Despite my join date, I've played very little, so this list reflects a very peculiar perspective.
1 - WIS. Im big on immersion and seeing my ship from a balcony is great. The tech in the room is awesome, too.
2 - Time Dialation. I've never experienced it personally but any game that refuses to cut complexity for performance...
3 - PI - I really like being able to do something with the space decorations and this fit nicely. Too bad profits went to power blocs. |

1. Loot all, I still appreciate it to this day best change ever.
2. Scanning changes post having to make custom Book marks warping between planets to place probes down one at a time.
3. Nano patches. 2006-2009. Tho I wish I got to fly the nanophoon, I was on the receiving end of that, it was my first loss in lowsec. Looking back it was funny but man that was powerful.

I notice that a Dev has included Alpha state players.
I can only assume that he is being facetious, or that he was instructed by his line manager to promote them.

1) Being able to group probes together. (fiddling with individual probes is just clummsy) 2) Not being able to smartbomb wrecks anymore (more plex for gankers i supose?) 3) Jump fatigue. (I like the idea that you can't cross the universe with a supercapital fleet in 20 minutes even though the logistics involved was very impressive or so i've heard. |

The skill queue, warp to zero and tiericides are certainly good features, but they were already there when I started play, at the end of May, 2016, so they don't impress me much. For me, the 3 best are:
1.reoccuring opportunities (10k SP per 22 hours by killing a rat): This was introduced just a few days before I started playing. Though it didn't last long, but it surely gave me a fair amount of SP to train some vital skills fast. 2.the Shadow of Serpentis: This event took place in the summer of 2016, and it was the first event I experienced. It brought me much fun and some good isk (sold the last gold can for 2 bil ). And unlike the following events, this event somehow encouraged fleeting and cooperating instead of soloing or stealing (though thieves and opportunists still existed). 3.ghost fitting |

1. Warp to zero. People who never had to deal with a minimum "warp to" distance simply have no idea how annoying this was.
2. Skill queues. The struggle to line up skill train end times with your time online was horrible.
3. Removing learning skills. These were a meaningless time sink that did nothing but add to the training curve and slow newer players down.
Honorable mention: Removing clone states. Not the current ones, the original ones where you had to pay to upgrade your clone in order to not lose skill points when you got podded. These did nothing but serve as an ISK sink for high-SP players.
Honorable mention: Removing AoE Doomsdays. You know, the ones that could easily kill entire fleets of tanked battleships in one shot? Talk about breaking the whole risk v reward equation. Getting rid of those was huge to nullsec warfare.

I seem to recall prior to Apocrypha we had a skill queue. But it was limited to 24 hours, or anything you could start within the first 24 hours. New skill queue is pretty much right up there on my list.
I wasn't playing prior to Quantum Rise. But I can imagine warp to zero being a pretty huge QOL improvement.
I'm going to lump Multi-Fit and Buy-All together. I spend a lot of time on SiSi for Alliance Tournament practices. Anything that reduces the work load of fitting and handing out ships is a huge QOL improvement. We used to have to log in at least an hour prior and fit up specific ships one-at-a-time after buying huge stacks of items. Now its two presses of a button and whammo instant fleet.
