Hello, I recently found some Insignias while ratting in lowsec, specifically in the Cosmic Anomaly Combat Sites. I got some of these stuffs, Federation Navy Sergeant Insignia I, some Majors and some others. I don't really know what they are, but in the description, it says that they can prove to be valuable if handed to proper organization? Which organization is it referring to?
Furthermore, I also saw a special ship thingy that can supposedly drop Clone Tags. I, however, cannot defeat them as my damage is kinda like.... 100% useless? I met two of these ships, what are the Clone Tags for (besides selling them in the Regional Market)? Their value is about 20m ISK each in my region.
Thanks! |

Insignias are for turning in to an LP store usually for the opposing faction. The Clone Soldier tags can be turned in at a Concord Security Office to raise ones security status (ie bribe the space police) |

The clone soldier ships are tougher than ususal rats, you need a T3D or Cruiser to reliably beat them. Never approach them directly. Their strength depends on sec level of the system. Clones in 0.1 point you, above only web. The soldiers in 0.2 space drop the most traded and valuable tags (Transporter) as those push your security status above -2.0 which is the barrier for entering 1.0 highsec safely. I'm a regular consumer.

Erm, no.
They are tougher, but have long range weapons, so you can approach fast and brawl them down easily. You can reliably kill all clone soldier rats in e.g. a meta4 autocannon Thrasher. Most other destroyers or Assault Frigs work as well.
And their tags are a reasonable income for a new player.

referencing to the site i linked above, based on exp., it's not worth to farm these tags. good thing that there are other ways to exchange LP stuff w/o those tags.

Confirming I've killed all levels of blood raider clones with a Coercer. You just need to be a bit smart about approaching or get a good warp-in on some of the harder ones. They can have very high resists so a new player may struggle to break them unless they pick a ship with the best damage type against whatever faction they are fighting.
Clone soldiers in 0.2 space will web and those in 0.1 space will disrupt you. They also deal more damage and have more tank than those in 0.3 and 0.4 space (though their tags are worth much more).
It's actually a great way for new players to make decent isk while getting a feel for low sec. It requires decent fitting and piloting, forcing you to learn some things about sig tanking and balancing DPS and tank. It will also allow you to practice evading or fighting other players in a fairly cheap way (usually the tags in your hold are worth much more than your ship is!)
Not to mention you'll find the occasional Mordus rat which drop nice blueprints (but may require a different ship or some friends to take down).

Thanks for the tips. However, with my fit and ship (Incursus) with only 110 DPS, I don't think that I'll be able to defeat them xD But thanks for the encouragement. |

An Incursus is indeed a bit on the weak side, but an Algos or Catalyst can break them. It may take you a while, but it's certainly doable. |

OK, right, I remember that I did hunt them in an Enyo before T3D were a thing, but was almost max skilled for the ship. The T3Ds are just more casual. But if you have to punch them for more than 2-3 minutes, you increase the risk of losing the tag to PvP and the value per time goes down.

Okay. Thanks, I'm also trying to train the skills to maximise the benefits of Cruisers and Destroyers, takes a long time, though |
