As we approach another weekend it's time to reflect on our achievements over the last week as a collective...
Bought an Azbel and fit it out for cap production Attended some CTA's (because we always attend CTA's!) Got a few more core members working towards capital doctrines with financial assistance from the corporation Told that joke I know, the funny one, it made that guy in our lobby laugh. Got told again by our alliance how awesome our corporation is (to be fair they tell every corporation how great they are, but I don't care!)
Do YOU want to feel part of a team? Do you want to take advantage of our awesome ratting and mining space? Do you want to feel like you are part of a group that's actually working together towards common goals?
We need EU timezone members and we DEFINITELY need US TZ members, so come along to our channel, Astrotech Lobby, and have a chat with us! |

Don't be afraid, capsuleers, it's relatively safe to join! I'm writing up this "review", my story so far with Astrotech, to give an example about what you can expect from this group, for those who are interested, but haven't made their mind up yet. Let's start from the beginning. I'm on my third comeback to EVE after two major breaks i've taken. When November's alpha-omega system was added to the game, I decided to give it another go as an alpha clone, to see what's changed and if I can properly find my place this time. Previously I was mostly part of High-sec corporations with small numbers, running missions and doing exploration runs into Null-sec. While it was interesting, the lack of player interactions and being unable to try a lot of things at the same time really took a toll on the experience. So this time I decided to head into Null-sec all the way and try my luck with the people who inhabit those spaces. I started looking around for smaller corps that accept players new to the mechanics of Null-sec, alpha clones, don't really have that many skill points, et cetera... Well, not that easy. Entered some public channels, talked to recruitment officers, and due to alpha clones just being added a day or two ago, most of them didn't want to, or weren't sure whether they should take alphas into their ranks. I had a talk with Max Carnage - our glorious leader - too, he wasn't sure about the alpha situation either, but we had a good talk and I continued my search. A few days later after a short break I logged in to find a mail in my inbox from Max, asking if I succeeded in finding a corp yet, and inviting me back to have a chat as they decided to open their doors to alphas. I was quite surprised, this was something - alongside the Spanish Inquisition - I did not expect. So I headed to the lobby, had an interview with some of the members, and there I was on my way to joining. A few days later I was on my way out to my new home in Deklein, escorted by the group i freshly joined. New recruits get a two weeks trial period, to see if they fit into the group alright. They were very helpful: after we reached our home station, i was given some ships to start out with - a ship for ratting, and one I could use for fleets - and I was all set! The following weeks were spent with acclimatizing to the new group and the world of Null-sec. It went quite well. I was very satisfied with the group from a social aspect: I could always have a talk with those online, sometimes we went ratting, sometimes we went on fleets. Fleets are something you can expect plenty of in this group, as we are a sort of a mercenary corporation, inside a greater alliance. I participated in taking down the M-O keepstar with them, in fact it was the second fleet i ever joined. A several hundred man fleet is confusing, to say the least, but they helped me through it. A month later i resubbed to omega, after realizing here I enjoyed the game enough to worth the money, and now I was able to start training into the doctrine fits we flew for alliance and coalition fleets. Since then I got to know the group very well. We have members from many parts of the world, and we operate with great efficiency. It's not unusual to see the whole corporation - at least those online - participating together on fleets. Sometimes it feels like a small elite squad in a greater army, honestly. The atmosphere is great, we have a positive, no-drama approach to everything, which is great - there's enough useless drama in one's personal life anyway, why have it here? Being on chat, or voice comms is always fun, terrible jokes and strange stories are to be expected. Aside from the alliance and coalition fleets, we do corporation operations too. Those tend to be very fun and interesting - we have a great FC in our ranks. We fly many different fleet compositions. We've just discovered our liking to bombers, as we pulled off a rather successful run the other day with a small group that never even flew those. Outside fleets, you do with your time whatever you want, be it ratting, mining, exploration, et cetera... We have very good systems for ratters and miners. Of course, there are some requirements for one to be a part of the group. As it should be clear by now, we like talking to each other, so new members should engage with the others as well. Participation in fleets is also required: an average of at least two per week should be met. But this is a - mostly - pvp corporation, fleets are what you want anyway, right? Being unexperienced is not a problem if you can work well with a team. This is a good place to learn just about anything. So to sum it up, i'm very satisfied with my decision to join Astrotech Syndicate. I'd recommend this group for anyone who's interested in pvp content, has a good sense of humor, can keep their cool and finds social interactions an important part of the game. Fly safe and see you in the lobby :) |

Thanks for your feedback Lanel, you've certainly been a great addition to our team :)
What an awesome weekend we had, we took our first bomber fleet out as a corporation and managed to get quite a few kills, we had loads of fun, hopefully next time we take our bomber fleet out we'll have 10 bombers on the field rather than just 5, obviously it helps to have a good FC on your team too :)
Astrotech Syndicate is currently looking for more Industrialists and Ratters to bolster our numbers in our alliance, ChaosTheory. scallywags of the north. We are a PVP corporation so you will be expected to take part in some combat, but it's for the most part fun :)
We like to have a laugh, we all get on and we've got one hell of a team.
PVP can be taught, the right attitude cannot, so if you think you've got what it takes, come and talk to our guys in Astrotech Lobby for more information! |

Hello there Sirius,
There are the standard alliance and coalition services that can be expected of any major alliance or coalition these days.
We don't as a corporation have a website as yet, at least, not one that's in a position to be released, I believe that falls under the banner of "soonGäó"

Ah, another Friday, and another opportunity to bump our recruitment thread.
Astrotech Syndicate is recruiting active, enthusiastic pilots for our roster. If you like being part of something special, we are it.
We're into small gang stuff, larger gang stuff, a bit of industry for good measure and sometimes even bombing. We're one of the most active PVP corporations in our alliance (no mean feat given our relatively small size) and we're looking to expand on this!
Do you want to feel like you are actively contributing to the growth of a corporation that's going places? We'd love to speak to you. Are you looking for a home, where you can feel like you are on great speaking terms with everyone in the corporation? Come and have a chat with us in our lobby! New to PVP or just looking to learn? We can help you. Want to FC? Not a problem, come and talk to us. Want a corporation that will reward your contributions and help you grow? That's us!
Come and have a chat with us in Astrotech Lobby, and talk with our friendly group of scallywags. You won't regret it.

Come and see the inside of the PandoraGÇÖs Box!
IGÇÖve been playing EvE for more than 2 years. In that time, I joined some corps which were operating in hisec. After a while I realized that I need more realistic experience such as Null-sec PvP but I didnGÇÖt have enough courage to join a PvP corp. I was nearly at the point of give-up. But then, suddenly i found this corp while searching killboards. I entered the lobby channel and talked with some GÇÿfriendlyGÇÖ people. After I talked with Max GÇôBig Boss- I really wanted to be a part of this group and my story in Astrotech Syndicate started.
This is my second month in this corp, in that time IGÇÖve found whatever I need; PvP, ratting and mining. After joining the corp, my killboard stats dramatically increased and I loved EvE once more. By the way , there is a good opportunity of getting fleet participation rewards (I earned a reward in my first month!)
If you want an advice, come and join. You wonGÇÖt regret if you want to shoot people and Null-sec fun. |
