Combined with future drifter Technology there could be new Implants made by Players.
I would like to have this possibilty as Long it is balanced with the game and made Npc implant sets not worthless.
pa Example.
Attribute implant +2 + Hardwire implant 2 % ( Limit for + 2 Attribute implants) + Drifter technolgy + ???? (Player or Npc- DNA) = new +2 Attribute implant with an an extra 2% Bonus.
Attribute implant +3 + vmax hardwire implant 3 % Attribute implant +4 + vmax hardwire implant 4 % Attribute implant +5 + Vmax hardwire implant 5 %
There could be a sucess rate like Invention or reverse Engineering,
It should not be possible to plug in this new Attribute implants with same extra Bonus on each. If Players get poded , pluged in such implants.. corpse should be possible get extraced for a Special DNA.
Such Special DNA s could be used to have more sucess combining implants for a Set.
i personal like the idea.

What you would accomplish is to give people like me - who can afford expensive implants, an additional advantage over newer players who can't.
I also don't see how the game as a whole benefits. There is no new gameplay, just a bit of power creep for existing gameplay.
I'm not opposed to new implants but believe they should only confer a bonus if you are undocked and exposing them to risk. Industrial characters can invent while comfortably and safely sitting in a station. |

I think every Player who can afford expensive Implant s , has an adventage over new Players. If u want to use it against new Players , u do it also without such implants.
+1+2+3 implants arent that expensive. a Little extra Bonus on them boost s new Players.
-a Point of view-
Industrial implants like this could be limited to Engineering complexes prolly.
Risk them is a "Must" to boost the market. |
