I bookmarked the Poco's so I could warp to a bookmark for my factory planets rather than havomg the science and industry window open.
Problem is nearly every time I warp to the bookmark, I land inside the poco and bounce out at silly speeds for an itty v. Has anyone else had the same problem, it's getting tiresome now |

Yes unfortunately it is not really a bug but rather a game mechanic. The same thing happens when you warp to an oversized asteroid. Best fix i can think of is to try to warp tp 10 km away like I do with roids that size. |

yeah I'll do some experimenting with bookmarks at varying differences and see if I can get it so I don't boing out :) |

You can also just add a tab to your overview, showing the custom's office, when you warp into a system, switch over, warp to POCO, switch back to your main overview tab.

yeah confirm that -- using bm's or 'locations' doesn't work for me in my Orca anymore. Best use science and industry to warp to your poco but even then it's patchy - was fine before |

Just one of the many little annoyances with eve I guess.
I didn't really want to have to use the S&I window since I use 6 planets that I've got configured in a particular order, but I might have to do it, and just write a list down of which order to do them in.

U can always bookmark the space near the POCO instead of the structure itself. |

Or change the default warp-to distance to like 5000m?

When i started using the POCOs i made bookmarks. with the same fustrations mentioned here.
Since then i have moved from system to system which made it kinda anoying to keep making new bookmarks and deleting the old ones.
Now adays when i want to go to my planets i open up the s/i window go to planets and I can see the 5 planets I am using atm right click them select custom office and select warp to 0 that way I dont have to maintain the bookmarks and I only have the planets in my list that I acually use. I found that alot easier and alot less of a hazzle. |

Think in 3 dimensions. Use a shuttle to make the bookmark underneath the customs gantry. |

I struggle to cope with 2 dimensions
I'll fire up the ceptor tonight and re-bookmark them
thx for the suggestion of going underneath the poco, I'll definately try that first.

This is indeed a NEW effect from Crucible's Release Date onward.
I've NEVER slammed into a POCO before, but 5 times now I've bounced and shot back at least 7500m.
NOT cute in Low Sec, thanks.
Reminds me of late 2008 when Warp to (Station) slammed you into a bounce off the side of Dodixie, or ANY other station.

After a little trial and fail last night, I reckon the best place to bookmark is to 1 side of the top structure of the poco. I tried at the base, and even when I directly approached the base from underneath, I couldn't get within opening range before bouncing off.
Changing the default warp to distance is the easiest solution, but I play eve, so I don't go for easiest

We have a defect for this, the problem is the collision bubbles do not really fit the model properly and can sometimes trap you in a seam. Keep your eye on the patch notes for an fix. CCP Nullarbor | Exotic Dancer |

This seems to have worked for me:
- Warp to a POCO from the overview
- Land near the POCO - bookmark the location where you arrive
There we go - bookmark to POCO! |

Keep your eye on the patch notes for an fix. Just use whatever settings you had before POCOs were put in the game. I never used to have this problem before. It's not a huge deal if you're flying an industrial or something but trying to get to customs offices in a freighter has been really annoying...you either have to warp in out of range and slowboat to 2.5km or you risk bouncing off or getting stuck. In my PI system, I can't get to the planets in order. Planet 3 to planet 4 won't let me warp due to the customs office being in the way. This is ridiculous, especially flying a cow of a hauler in lowsec, trying to economise on time as you pick up your PI after dropping off a metric carpton of shuttles. |

I very carefully set BMs beside the COs on the side facing my next planet, so I move away when starting warp. I set the BM distance by moving away from the CO until the distance started showing a non-zero value, to get as far away as possible while still having a typical warp land me close enough to use the CO.
I tried above the CO for awhile, did not seem to work as well. My op requires the use of a freighter. Not fun to get bounced out when you are in a freighter. This! Not sure if this is related to the current defect in POCO implementation, but it definitely wasn't the case for me before Crucible. I can warp from a safe to a POCO and back, but warping between POCO's isn't happening without running into the CO from which I'm warping. I use the S&I window to get to customs offices. |
