My EveMon worked fine - and I love it. After installing the last windows update it doesn't work anymore. That is it cannot connect to the internet? Anyone have an idea or have the same problem.
Thanx - luck 'n' loot Orm

With the new patch Nov 11... will a new version of EvEMon have to be built? My current version no longer is reading server data other than the online ststus and population...

My version is 1.2.5.1170, and the OP still lists current as 1.2.4.1005 (post was edited over a year ago) so maybe they're just cruising along and making tweaks still. In this CCP bulletin from the last major patch, API-related issues sprung up for the first few post-patch days, so I wouldn't fret just yet. ------------------------------------------------ "Skills continue training even if you are logged off or if your account is inactive (in the second scenario you can't change skill training, though). |

Ever since I started using Evemon on my Vista computer, all I was able to get from the API key was the character names. Once I'd selected the character and added it, it refused to add any further information. When I hovered my mouse over the update circle, it said something along the lines of "error 203: failed to authorize api key information."
A few days of monkeying around, and I discovered that it was never actually saving the API key.
For anyone else with this problem, right click on the update circle, select "Change API key information..." and make sure the key is actually in there.

The Level 5 skill count at the top of the screen is out by a factor of 1.
Says 77 when it should be 76.
Has been like this since the last version was released.
There are many places in this game where battles are fought and won, EFT isn't one of them. |
