I am not sure if this is technically feasable but connecting anomaly duration to a bookmark. So when the anomaly despawns, the bookmark is deleted.
This would have to be optional or have a way to get around it for keeping safes/salvage.
Basicly a quality of life for exploration types who bookmark sites/wormholes then have to check the system to see if they expired then remove them after the site is done. It would also help corps who have less vigilant comm officers. |

So, immediate problem with this idea.
Alt in someone's wormhole, scan down and corp bookmark all their wormholes, as soon as the BM disappears you know the WH is gone. Other anoms could show activity.
The generally request for bookmarks with expiry timers would have less issues and probably be just as technically feasible. |

As he said, also the bookmark from the site you just ran, disappearing just as you wanted to go there to pick up the blue loot would be a bit of a downer. But you already see that as a problem. Time expiring bookmarks, unless overriden have my vote |

Generally I know when a WH is gone by looking at my probe scanner... They disappear from that just as fast as they would disappear from your bookmarks list, except I don't have to go and scan down a bunch of sites first.
That said, I can't see any reason why you would want to create a bookmark to an anomaly that disappears when the anomaly does. The only real reason to warp back to a despawned anom is to retrieve your MTU or salvage, etc. If the bookmark disappeared, you get to scan down your MTU or buy a new one. You'd be overriding that expiration for every anom you bookmark. |
