Hi
Im not sure if this is the correct place to post this but here goes anyway.
Since the recent patches i have been having issues when undocking from citadels ( haven't tested this on normal stations).
depending on what level of zoom i have on my toon the graphics start to spam out on the screen. only seems to happen on the undock not when im anywhere else in space. Its abit hard to explain via txt so i uploaded a short youtube video here to show you what i mean.
I was running full graphic with my GTX 770 which should handle and does handle the game fine. but for testing reasons i dropped all the graphics to low and the problem persissted.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance Ganjena o7 |

That's usually an indication of your graphics card running too hot. Check your temps while running the game.

yep was my first thoughts but there steady between 75-83, which shouldnt be a problem for a graphics card and still doesnt explain why only on citadel undocks |

Fahrenheit or Celsius? If Celsius, then your card is running quite hot indeed, I've seen cards experience your problem from as little as 65C. Remember, not all graphics cards are created equal, and many deteriorate over time due to temperature stresses and constant use.
In cases where it happens when your card isn't too hot, then it's possibly an indication of failing video memory, a progressive problem that often gets worse over time. The reason it happens only when you undock is that only a few textures trigger it (usually high-detail ones), and from the video we can see that those textures belong to your ship.
Corrupt textures could also be a cause, and since EVE was updated recently, it may be worth clearing out your EVE cache.

Edit: If it is having problems with those temperatures, there's something else wrong.

Thanks for the help, yes it is Celsius and ive clear cache but still getting the issue. My understanding is card should be more then happy at that temp. And with the starting at the same time as a big new patch im sceptical its my graphics card.
You point out the texture is coming from my ship which i agree with you, thats what it looks like but wouldnt i be having the same issue ANYWHERE in space. i can keep the same camera angle which is bugging out on the citadel, soon as i warp its gone and nothing again when i land IF its not on a citadel. It seems to kick in when im tethered. |

Thank you for clarifying the temps should be good, you mentioned something else might be wrong? could you elaborate? im assuming its eve lol

If you have a spare graphics card, you could try that one to see if the problem persists or not, which would tell you for sure whether it's your card or something else causing the issue. If not, simply reseating the graphics card in it's slot could make a difference.
Otherwise you could try reinstalling drivers and Direct X.

I had to go down to dx9. I can't even dock anymore because of the stupid lighting they added |

Have you updated your drivers?
I had the "same issue" but only with the shaders not being up to date. |
