Hello test pilots! We are planning a mass test on Singularity tomorrow on Tuesday, May 23rd at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!
What exactly is being tested?
- Server performance improvements regarding delayed module activation/deactivation. Time Dilation should now activate more consistently under high server load.
Please note that CCP will be podding players throughout the fight at the shipyard to further test server performance. It is recommended that you create a medical clone in the test system at the NPC station.
We also will be turning on and off the server performance improvements throughout the fight.
How to connect to Singularity for this test: Change the server from Tranquility to Singularity in the upper left corner of the new launcher and log in as normal. More detailed instructions are available here.
Test steps: 1. Use /moveme to go to Shipyard system (this information will be updated shortly before the mass test). 2. Meet up at the station inside this System 3. We will fleet up in two separate fleets, fleet Wand fleet X. 4. Then we undock and warp to the Blood Raider shipyard together. There will be a global beacon and you can choose to warp to this at whatever distance you need to. 5. Shoot any NPCs or the Shipyard itself. 6. Please use lots of drones for this test. 7. After the test concludes we will then PvP brawl at the shiypard.
What else should I know? 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test.

Ill also check if any of your performance improvements have helped my issue where my fps is 2 to 4 in some systems (and just fine in a system one jump away), even when no one else is in that system. |

Hmm, alphas can't go to omega state for this test? No 2m skill points either for alpha it seems. Why should I go help test exactly then go do something else? |

Does anyone have a link or anything that has instructions for new players? I was completely lost 31 jumps away from FWST-8, no matter which /moveme point I chose. I'm sure that it was something I did wrong, rather than poor instructions here.
Also, do these usually last less than an hour? tia. |

That location was an exception for that mass test and is no longer available.
Yes, the test usually lasts about an hour.
