Allow us to set Properties, by right clicking, on a folder and Files in the Quick Bar area. A screen will pop up with the option with "Always confirm changes" and a person can check the check box. So "Moving the folder/file(item)" and "Renaming a folder", also "Deleting" will ask for a confirmation, if a person does so.
I accidentally moved a folder in one of the others, and could not find it for a long time in my quick bar, I have lots of folders and sub folder to organize my stuff.
2. The same idea, to set properties, with the saved Personal Locations window/screen of individual locations/way points. This allow us to not accidentally delete a location/saved point in space, even when general/regular confirmation is turned off. I turned off the general confirmation in the Locations window/screen, but need to make sure I do not accidentally delete a saved location that is very important to me, so I am asking for the "Properties" to be set for each location in this screen. |

To: Fifty Three (Stop your nonsense)
Nobody gives a **** about your "ideas". They're as dumb as your title and add nothing but troll value.
You're an idiot that doesn't understand the game or game mechanics at all and your "To: The developers" titles literally scream that that you're a dumb ******.
Biomass your characters and go back to World of Warcraft, where you belong.
When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

You know, normally I'd just pass by and let the roasting go unchecked... But I have to pull Devil's Advocate here, because it actually isn't a horrible or gamebreaking idea. It could be articulated better, yes, but for once its an idea he's had that WON'T break any particular portion of gameplay and would make organizing slightly better. With some refinement of course.
The gods are out there. They watch us. They guide, they manipulate. We rally behind the ones we adore, and rain fire against those who rally behind the ones we hate. The question now is, to whom does your allegiance fall behind, dear Empyreans?

If he wants to play like a big boy (that guy, HAHAHAHAHAHA), then he also has to act like one and not ask for dumbing things down because he can't handle his own idiocy.

I'm with Linus. Even if by some miracle you came up with an idea that didn't suck (in an infinite universe everything has to happen at least once, so who knows) nobody respects you. I only half read your posts now, and then pop down to figure out new ways to make fun of you.
So I'm going to counter your suggestions with some of my own: 1) learn humility. Just because you say "to developers" doesn't make your ideas not suck. It doesn't add any validity. it's 100% about your ego, nothing else. It's a little insulting because it seems you think your worthless ideas are actually worth a dev's precious time and brain space to read. They are not. 1) learn about the game. You obviously don't have a clue. This goes a long way to making your ideas suck by default. 1) learn to use rough drafts. Trim the junk, restructure the content of your posts. Your ideas are terrible, but if you could present them in a way that didn't make you sound like a lunatic, you might start succeeding in convincing people you aren't an idiot.
You'll notice I numbered them all 1. That's to suggest those are all the starting point. Do ALL of them first. Your ideas will still suck, but at least then they can start sucking a little less from time to time.
Maxim 6. If violence wasnGÇÖt your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.

You really really do not understand what a massive pain this would be to implement.
Just for a start you've just massively increased the amount of data saved locations take up, and that's not small already, not to mention the performance hit that would cause, and on top of that there's additional UI complexity.
No, this isn't needed. You want to avoid deleting your important locations or whatever then be more careful with your UI clicks and don't disable the already existing default warnings. |

This is possibly one of the greatest things I have ever read. |
