hi just of curiosity, who got the highest faction standing?
is there someoen or even many that have 10?
what use is it? high sec bos up to 7 is useful... higher than 7 is that for some kind of strange COSMOS missions?
and also... is there someone with 10 sec status? and is there any benifits frome that?

There are people with 10 and from what I have heard the only reward for getting that high is three faction ship bpc's from certain cosmos agents. These are given out at 8.4 9.0 and 9.3 I think. Other than that you dont get anything else. Although a free tshirt would be cool :)

With a Caldari State standing of 10 for example (can't be perfect 10, but must be shown as 10 in the character info) you get a Raven State Issue 1 Run BPC in exchange for some rare gurista officer tags.
With a faction standig of 9.95 you can enter 0.5 systems of that faction with a capital ship, 0.6 sys with 9.96 etc, when it shows 10 you can enter a 1.0 sec system with your capital (works only with dreads+carriers, not for ms or titans).
You can also join any NPC corporation of the faction if you have a standing of 10 (theres no diffrence than being in the other npc noobcorps, just the diffrent name).
You get a conratulation eve-mail by the head of the faction if you reach 10, where he offers you some npc corporation shares as reward for your loyalty to the faction.
There are some other things aswell but i like to keep some secret, not reveal everything

Proof or STFU.
@Topic: There are some that have 10. Picman has 10 to the Amarr. A Gallente female char with pink hair (forgot the name) has 10 to Gallente Federation. I have 9.98 to Caldari State and this is very far away from 10, took quite many lvl 4 storylines from 9.97 to 9.98.
Best security standing i've seen was something like 8+, no clue though how people get there because my sec. status stopped rising at 5.4, before i ruined it by killing some in lowsec.

Sweet dreams you have there but it is wrong info. Only BPC's (used to me 2 run versions I think) are indeed given out by specific COSMOS agents at certain standings and they do not need officer tags, just regular higher end tags (30 x diamond for battleship for example if I remeber correct).

@castra noor You made these claims before. But have offered not one shred of proof. Now considering that not one other person has ever supported your claims and Entity's Unique Ships list has never included more than just the state issue raven's won by bob in the alliance championships. I would say you are just trolling.
So instead of pontificating post a screenie of your shares. your standing at 10 or even the state issue you must still own seen as you couldnt have sold it.

@ OP Sira Blue has a 10 standing with Gallente faction.

Sorry still kinda new to this missions thing but...... BPC?
And what must you do other then get that standing... simply wait for that agent to offer it to you? And if you dont have a lot of lp at a certain agent when reaching 8.4/9.0/9.3 in faction standing, will you miss your change for the federate issue ship?

Edited by: KISOGOKU on 16/05/2007 15:07:08 zechs this bpc offers that want faction standing is totally different from reguler agent offers. You dont need 9.x faction standing for reguler agents(you are collecting loyalty points for them). These agents who give 2 run bpcs are COSMOS agents and you have to go to them and ask for mission, Caldari cosmos agents who give ship bpcs at otitoh (friggi gate ) according to sources ,9.1 for Hookbill /9.5 for Navy caracal and 9.9 for Navy raven

sorry still a bit confused. I understand the standing stuff now, but how do you find a COSMOS agent, and are they only available after you reach a certain faction standing?
edit: oh and still what is BPC??

It's 8.5, 9.2, and 9.9 or 9.99, I'm not positive on the last one because I haven't personally gotten it. Those are modified standings (with skills). It's still 2-run copies, as I did the Caldari frig one last week with 8.2 base 8.5 modified, and got a 2-run Hookbill to gather dust with my two Slicers and two Navy Augorers.

So if you do missions long enough for these agents you'll eventually get your navy issue ship? (not really sure how this works)

You can never have a "real" 10.0 standing (only 9.999999...), just as little as you can have a "real" 100% shield resist. The only person I know of that has a displayed 10.0 faction standing is Siri Blue (with Gallente).
Nothing special happends (FOR NOW) when you reach a "displayed" 10.0 standing with a faction. CERTAINLY YOU DON'T get a "state issue" ship, those are limited issues (given as prize for the last alliance tournament), and no new ones can be obtained through any kind of grind. All you can hope of is to BUY one of the existing ones from their owner. Also, you can NEVER enter 0.5 or above space with a capital ship, the only way you CAN have a cap ship in any 0.5 or above system is if you BUILT it there and never moved it out (it's now IMPOSSIBLE to build any in highsec) OR BOUGHT it there, from somebody who built it there when it was still possible and never moved it out. You don't get a congratulations mail, you can't join any OTHER NPC corps except the "default" one, you don't get any kind of special treatment.
Everybody claiming otherwise (i.e. Castra Noor) is either JOKING, daydreaming, trolling, or speaking out of their rear end.
That aside, yes, you DO get some "special" offers at certain high faction standing, from the empire's "special COSMOS agents" (three for each empire), offering a one-time completable "mission" with a reward of a BPC of the corresponding navy ship (one frigate, the second cruiser and the last one battleship) in exchange for some tags, whenever you have enough faction standing to be offered that mission/offer. Those agents don't have any other use, for now.
Also, you can get navy ship BPCs from ANY agent in a certain faction, in offer form, once you have enough acumulated LPs for the offer (30k LP for frigate, 120k LP for cruiser, 500k LP for battleship) and you get more or less lucky to get that specific offer (they also ask for some ISK, and there's also an alternative offer for ready-built ship for a bit more LP and something else). _ MySkills | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

So you mean (as an example) you can get an BPC for a navy issue raven by having a lot of LP (and a lot of luck) with an agent of the Caldari Navy?
Also I understand that BPC stands for Blueprint Copy (have x amount of runst that allow you to build a thing that many times). Does this mean you get a blueprint for that ship (iow you will still have to build it)?

Edited by: KISOGOKU on 19/05/2007 20:18:59 first you cant do missions more than 1 time generally for this agents (some exceptions).this missions called cosmos missions and totally different and generally harder than reguler missions There are 2 ways for navy frigs/cruisers and battleships reguler missions and when you get enough loyalty points agents will offer ships, navy cruisers around 100-150k navy battleship around 500-600k.Cosmos bpc offers are a bonus for ppl who have high faction standing. you can get an BPC for a navy by having a lot of LP ,corp doesnot matter all caldari agents offer caldari navy ships, amarr agents amarr ships. yes if you get a blueprint copy for a ship you have to build it.
Congrads Mical ,nice to see you have your offer

Ok, maybe she does not know how/where to get all this or she knows but did not tell you ? Or are you a dev's alt ? If not, you have to get to 10 first, to be that 110% sure.

So basically this means it will take a SERIOUS LONG TIME to get a navy issue. Because I don't know about all the mission runners out there, but to be able to build a BS will take 'some' skill points.

That's a definitive yes to at least one of the above, and at least one no (which ones, YOU can't be 100% sure).
Even if *I* would have absolutely no proof whatsoever (and I don't even intend to ante up any of mine), YOU would still have to prove ANYTHING you said is true (even if only partially) in order to have anybody give you even a shred of creedence. Or, to keep it short and pragmatic, you're going against the established belief system...

As stated previously there are some sweet dreams in that rather spectacular list of all things that are belived to be possible at faction standings 10. However those claims do not go hand to hand with current game mecaniks as majority of community is aware of them.
For example State Raven is unique ship handed our as reward for last year winner of alliance tournament. It was not planned as NPC reward as far I'm aware (and I do read all devblogs and patchnotes). So while dreams of getting one are nice only ingame possibility currently is to shell out 80 billions and buy it (search sell forums, it is for sale still).
So in a nutshell. Proof or STFU.

Somehow this does not persuade me. Only because they are handed out in the tournanment does not mean you can't get them somewhere else (btw, the text in the description of the corvus was telling you get them only from tournament, it does not say this anymore, so why do you think this change was made ?). It's like a guy A lives in a city and buys his potatoes in a supermarket. Guy B will come and say, "hey, you can grow potatoes yourself in the garden" and guy A will answer " no no, that's not possible, the current mechanics are that you buy potatoes in the supermarket, as the majority of us citizens always get their potatos only from the supermarket and we never seen how potatoes grow, you can't get them somewhere else than the supermarket." And that 80 bil does not say anything. Seriously, i can put a ferox for sale and ask 80 bil aswell and you bet it will be long in the forums (because noone will buy it for that price), and only because i'm asking such a high price does not mean its worth so much or someone will really pay so much. Thats 80 b are more of a dream than my statments.
And i don't have to give any proof. If you don't believe me, fine, it's your loss, not mine, why should i do any effort to show you how you can profit ? I simply don't mind if you don't believe me.
