Does CCP have intentions to improve the ship and station destruction animations and explosions? I just recently cleared through the SOE epic arc missions, and saw many destroyed batteships, battlecruisers and stations in pieces that looked like a great idea for part of ship destruction. Does large ships like Titans leave wrecks that look like a broken titan ship? Or even stations?
It would be great in the future to see wrecks of larger vessels to be pieces of the original floating in space, instead of just the standard wreck just smaller or larger. |

CCP have already been steadily improving ship and structure destruction effects over the last few years, but it's a slow iterative process and the wrecks especially are tricky since having a unique wreck for each ship type puts much more strain on the client and server than just having one wreck type for each size of ship. |

All the cool explosion magic was traded in for asset teleportation magic. You can't have both.... sorry. |

Some wrecks, like those in the SOW Epic Arc are scenery and permanent. Most wrecks disappear when salvaged or after 2 hours.
There are lots of Titan wrecks at the monument to the battle of B-R5RB https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upS0CpT4u-g

Well I do hope in the future the destruction of larger ships, battecruisers and T2 ships and up would have a unique improved explosion animation. There was a game I played very long ago, Haegemonia Legions of Iron back nearly 20 years go that had some impressive explosions for its time. I am sure CCP will implement something of that sort.
