Hi there: sometimes in Project Discovery i have transits where i am not able to see why that is a transit at all. I don't find any information ingame about those and how to actually see them. They seem to be random and look like the "no transit" ones. I made some pictures and i would like to know how they can bee seen and what is different about them:
They look like this:
Bild 1 Bild2 Bild3 Bild4
i can't see the abnormality there....

sometimes they seem extremely random, but you should try using 'detrend' function, as it makes the graph less scattered all around the place. maybe that would help! |

i always use that but sometimes yes, they stay random. And maybe they are marked wrong for a transfer because i cannot see one or there are transfers thar a almost invisible..
some kind of explanation would be nice

Yeah, I don't know how to do it exactly, but when the samples seem scrambled, i just take the measure that seems the furthest off the trend and try to fit it with the next one. Then after folding, just try to somehow align the discrepancies. - works about 60% of the time. But a decent tutorial would be awesome.
Honestly, I don't understand what are we doing here. It seems that all the samples are already pre-analysed. Like, if you are wrong in your readings, then there is the right answer already in place. I'm not exactly sure where do the players come in for this. There should be some extensive research done by players, an article by EVE devs or the research facility that was the initiator of the mini-game. But I am not that serious about it find the motivation to search for these things. After all, even if you are wrong you get the 50k ISK. hah
Edit - maybe this will help https://meta.eveonline.com/t/a-simple-exoplanets-project-discovery-guide/10314 |

I have been enjoying this because I do not have skills to mine and can not believe it takes two months to get a good ship. I am shocked that ANYONE new to EVE would stay that long just to start playing good.
So is there anything about the Project Discovery that stands out as being a huge and obvious help? Something you discovered that may be obvious but took a while to learn? I am at level 9 with 49.5% accuracy. I wonder if you level up faster the more accurate you are?
