How much do mission runners usually pay for a delivery of narcotics (not boosters)..ie Drop, Crash, etc...? Not asking how you run them, just asking how much per unit they cost.

They are used to complete offers from pirate agents I believe. Slave implants, etc...

Edited by: Red Rumurder on 31/05/2007 17:52:01 yes but most run them in empire where they get them in missions like damsel in distress and such and bringing them to 0.0 is just dumb from empire
hopefully you'll see why not a lot of people run drugs
1) customs will nab you at the gate and even with black market trading (start game with only) skill at 5 you still run a 50/50 chance of getting busted
2) you want us to take them from empire to 0.0 through gate camps and all (yes carriers can get around that but there are other logistics involved with it)
3) no profit worth the risk just so you get a pirate implant
now those in 0.0 all ready have the missions that give them drugs so why would they buy them since they get for free. honestly drug running is an area in this game that has never been truely thought out, just more of a gimmick

Right thanks for expressly telling me how hard it is even though I never asked the question (please refer to the above original post). I am just asking what the general prices are...nothing more.

Red may have gone a little overboard but the frustration she is expressing is valid. I have been playing since Beta and to my knowledge outside of a old exploit that has since been stopped back the first year. There is no where to sell them, so there is no general price for them. You can't move them once you dock and complete the mission and I don't believe you can actually put a sale order on the market for them.
So I say all that to say, the general price is whatever you think you can get for them in your location or elsewhere. I am sure they are a lot cheaper in Empire then in O.O though backwards as that seems to me.

Yes you can move them.
Edit: Everything is cheaper in Empire than 0.0 as well. I have played since Beta (actually alpha 6 but whatever). It is a topic of interest that I have...nothing more. But it seems like no one wants to discuss prices at all. Just join the Narcotics channel ingame to find that out.

Yes you are able to move them, but as one of the posts above hit on. Why would you? a mission runner who tries to move the drugs out of the system even with proper training still has a 50% chance of getting caught with them in their cargohold. Which will severely reduce their standing with that corp which will effectively set them back in their missions and lose them money.
With that said selling the drugs in empire is basically useless but does happen. Moving the drugs from empire = dumb idea.

Mission runners usually ignore the offers that require drugs, as they are to hard to get and there isn't a visible market for it. I think there are some corps that tried to trade with it, but i have no idea if they are still in business. Your best start might be to check the offers that require drugs, calculate your drug prices and see how much ISK/LP would be left over for the mission runner and compare it to the other offers. -------------------------------------- Agent & Mission-Info: http://www.eveinfo.com Evewide Market-Info: http://eve-central.com/ |

It's actually not THAT hard to move illegal items.
Let alone the fact that customs are currently broken and you can fly to Jita with Caldari tags and raspberry the customs if you wanted.

People are saying that demand is low, as in hardly anyone wants them.
You can infer from this that prices will therefor be crap.

Regular agents stops asking for drugs, long before I actually got any decent amount to fill there orders. Now I'm forced to move them to areas of convenience so others may profit.
I think the regular agent offers of drugs for isk stopped at the same time they stopped offering goods as bonuses.
Customs do seem to be broken however. ______________________________

IT of course depends on the drug. I think most of em run for a couple of thousand a unit but i oculd be wrong, put somethiun in your bio askin people to contact you if they want the stuff and then you'll get prices you can food anything if you just eat it. (yes food is a verb) |

Pirate agent drug offers are still alive, and people still get some very nice implants for them.
They don't give drugs out as rewards anymore, but even when they did, they never gave the drugs they would ask for for offers..these would normally be found from pirate factions in other regions.
My corp/alliance specialises in aquisition and delivery of narcotics and combat boosters, so any of you got anything to sell or an order you need filled, join channel 'narcotics' (as OP mentioned) or mail me or one of my associates in game.
And before anyone asks..no I'm not giving prices out on the forums

Just to correct a couple 'legality' misconceptions.
1. Tags are illegal in the regions belonging to their previous owners (can't put up a sell or buy order for Caldari tags in The Forge, for example) However, if you check the legality tab you will see only that they are illegal but there are no listed repercussions. They don't care that you have them, you just can't sell them.
2. Customs is either broken or they love me. Plotted a 30+ jump round trip to pickup drugs from old mission spots throughout all 4 Empires space. Autopilot on an Itty V, was never stopped, flagged or shot.
That is all until I remember more.
