The issue has been located, the issue stemmed with the return path going through another one of our providers. Limelight was correct in its assessment that they were not the cause of the problem. The problem stemmed with the return path routing through a provider other then Limelight.
We have disabled this return path and now all traffic is being routed through Limelight, until we resolve the issue with that provider.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our customers.
Please update this thread if you are still experiencing any issues.

So, to those of you who were *****ing the whole time, especially Xedrik, There You Go.
I understand the posts saying "hi, i'm having the same problem, here's my tacert". Those were cool. Those of you saying "CCP, you owe us" or even better "CCP, you don't care about us and it's OBVIOUSLY YOUR FAULT CAUSE YOU"RE DUMB" I hope you feel dumb now.
I told you CCP was working on it. CCP told you they were working on it. Don't be so quick to say that everything is CCPs fault. They understand all your "basic principles of business" that you claimed to be experts at.
CCP: I had faith in you. I didn't even have the problem like those people did. Don't listen to the hatemongers.

And here's a less asshat-ish reply for those of you being nice and saying that you're going to petition for lost time.
I would go ahead and petition if I were you, even though it wasn't CCPs fault. Don't expect to get anything back though. It sucks, I know, but sometimes these things happen. I've never had it happen to this extent though, but sometimes real life prevents you from logging in for a bit.
I won't be able to log in for about a month (27 days starting at 4pm today) and I'll be missing it. Forunately i have a couple 30 day skills to choose from so I won't be missing any time.
Good Luck on getting "training time" back, but I'm not holding my breath.

I wonder what you would say if TQ goes down like 2 days before you leave and you wouldnt be able to set that 30day skill in time. :)

I set it 3 days ago (amarr carrier 5)
But yeah, then, in all honesty, i'd probably break the eula myself and ask my dad to switch skills for me.
I'm not a heartless bastard, I just act like it to certain people.

EDIT 11PM, Paris Time : I'm fed up with trying. If there's no improvement by tomorrow morning, I'll cancel my subscription. I've never seen such a lack of information about what's happening (it would be the least you can do) and such a long period of deconnection. It means the CCP team dosn't deserve my money, really. AND I WILL ASK FOR REIMBURSMENT...

Is was CCP's fault. Both in the initial balls-up and in the response time to fixing it. It even appears that Limelight were the ones that figured it out.

oooh, who called that one?!?
Yeah, when you are announcing your BGP routes over multiple links, you need to make sure all your netblocks are covered from each interface. You don't have to announce the same route from each interface (you can pre-pend in order to encourage traffic balancing), but.... I dunno, we just always announced all of our netblocks out all 5 interfaces when I was doing this.
Guess it depends on your internal topology.

What would be nice to see is some sort of news item cataloging this. Given that there are probebly a lot of people who still have no idea why they could not log in, as opposed to just letting it drop.
