I have setup my myrmidon with nos and projectiles and was wondering which rigs to use, all I can think of using is CCC, Armor rep amount and explosive resistance. Would that be the best way to have it?

I would put Exp resist, armor rep ammount and perhaps drone control range/speed/damage rig

I dont think a drone speed rig would help as I use a mwd to get up close and small projectiles for frigs, and there isnt a damage rig for drones apart from sentry that I can see, would 3x armor rep work?

afaik, armor rep amount rigs are one of the few that have stacking penalty, you could try rep-amount + rep-time + armor amount... but personally i'd switch armor amount for an anti explosive pump... |

I did 1x duration and 2x amount not too long ago, worked pretty nicely imo :)

Whats your fitout? The myrmidon has a massive range of setups that work so that would determine it.
If your using EANM II's with decent armour compensation skills then the rigs used would be way different to the passive shield tanking setups going around.

Edited by: VicturusTeSaluto on 14/06/2007 02:55:26 How exactly do you plan on using it? Solo? Gang? Any idea what kind of targets you will be fighting against? It really just depends. The various armor rigs are great, but the penalty is quite harsh IMO.

Speed will never be the Myrm's strong point. It does everything else, why worry about rig drawbacks?
Personally, I like CCC x2 (Run two MARII's much?) Armor Rep Amount x 1
Cuts your speed 9% at minimum skills. Matters not at all.
Frankly other than the one CCC you pretty much require for a perpetually running single-MAR tank the rest is gravy.

2x rep amount, 1x rep duration is what I prefer.

rep time = more cap used by armor rep
and in most cases even if there is a stacking penalty rep ammount x 3 > rep time in regards to final fit
best way to check, though not perfect, is to get quickfit and see

Running 2x anti-explosive 1x anti-kinetic with 2x ean, damage control II and a thermic hardeners and dual repper + injector. Cap sink? Hell yah but 4 nosses, scrambler, webber, it's all a bs-tackler/baiting machine. ;)
With guns I'd use other rigs.

I normally wont go pvping with a myrmadon since it is my main pve for killing rats but if i had to i would use tech 2 med drones. one for each resistance type that yor enemy has less of.
which means 5 of each. medium drones and one webber for holdiong him in position.
then you canuse nos for high
webbers , MWD and some batteries to keep yuor cap full, is better then useing cap chargers.
lows your regular nano adaptive plates. tech II if u can.
For rigs, 2 Auxillary nano pumps and one acclarator.
Tech II med armor repair
and your set.
suck em dry while your drones pile on the damage. your webbers will hld the ships stil while you rip into them.
you can use active hardeners if you want but your talking about 100 mill in mods total or around that afteryou install the rigs and tech II mods.
Good Luck Pilot.
