Managed to get it connected using a combo of http-tunnel and proxy cap and now i'm stuck on acquiring bulk data

It eventually gets past requiring bulk data. But the one after the patch took hours.

Mine wont work, keeps on saying 'Status:incompatible(release) just after i downloaded the patch

Edited by: Zabraxx Ex''ator on 05/07/2007 13:53:10 I mucked about with the cache a bit, I can get on now but I get booted off every five to ten minutes... Which is of course totaly useless for actually trying to play the game so I'm really little better off than when I couldn't connect at all.

Yup this kinda thing just happened to me today... i was playing eve fine everything working great then all of a sudden i got booted...now when i try to log in i can enter pass etc but it just sits on that screen with status unknown ???? Is ther a fix for this?

Hi Im having trouble also. I clicked on the eve icon to start the game and i see the splash screen but no login screen or anything. I have Telenor as isp and live in sweden.

Arnaxh when u say you get no log-in screen does it stay black as if so this is a known issue with eve.
there is the thread for you to check out if you are getting stuck on black screen after splash screen loads.

Also there is issuses with telenor at the moment there are ways round this issue just takes alot of messing about to do it.

I'm in Hong Kong and I ceased being able to connect on July 7th. Currently I get good pings from the first four steps in the tracecert chain (all Hong Kong based IPs), then the ms return goes up to over 300 for all the rest of the IPs... up to the Eve server.
The general instability around patch time has been a frustration, but this is just ridiculous. It's paying for a service that I'm not receiving... and it seems a lot of people are suffering from the same problems.
Sort it out CCP or you'll lose a lot of "good faith" from otherwise happy customers.

I haven't been able to connect to Eve or the website since July 6th. I can connect via work or friend's computers but my home seems cut off completely. I filed a petition but I'm not sure if that is the right way to go about assessing and fixing the connection issue. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
I'm in Arizona, USA and using Qwest if anyone else is having a similar issue.
