Since the latest patch and the introduction of heat I am having enormous difficulty in telling whether a module is active or not. The green bar at the top of the module activation circle which is the heat display is lime green. The rest of the circle to denote that a module is active is a lighter washed out lime green. The whole colour setup makes it virtually impossible to see whether a module is actually active or not. Am I the only one who is having this difficulty?

I'm sure you're not the only one. Red/green colour blindness is common amongst the male population and most of Eve's subscribers are male.
Worse still CCP are aware of both these facts and it was for that reason that they changed skill requirements to have a tick and a cross. I suppose it shows that their graphics department isn't talking to the content department or some such.
Luckily I can see the colour just fine but if you don't know you are colour blind you might want to get it checked out. Not that there's anything anyone can do about it and it's a perfectly normal problem that a lot of people have. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

Yeah, I'm red/green colourblind and I have that problem. It's usually not an issue, except when the modules are against space clouds in the background, but I've had that problem since before Rev. II. I wish we had more control over our UIs ----- Griffin -- 100,000 ISK ECM - Multispectral Jammer Is -- 20,000 ISK Standard Missile Launcher Is -- 10,000 ISK War target sobbing over losing a fight in his T2 fitted Battleship -- priceless |

I am not color blind and I have a hard time seeing the colors. Maybe a cool change would be to make the colors of active and non active modules able to be changed to any color by the user.

*gasp* maybe make active modules a solid color instead of blinking. ------------ This is not War... This is pest control - Dalek Sek

I've noticed on my ship that the closer to the "middle" of the rack the brighter the blinking appears. This may just be some silly optical illusion but it does make it more difficult to tell if the outer modules are active or not. I myself just had an eye exam less then a week ago myself (poor eyesight ftl...) so I not sure it's a color-blindness issue.

I struggle to tell with perfect vision at times, colour blind peeps have no chance. Rev I modules were better, couple them in with custom colours (Blue against something else?).

Yep, I am not colorblind at all but against some backgrounds it is impossible to tell which modules are active and which not.
