I take the live dev blog very seriously where eve tv explicitly asked about feedback for their upcoming show.
first and foremost you do a great job by taking this effort so seriously. it's a great idea to deliver professional quality news to a sepcific online community like us eve maniacs. I think your innovation will spawn similar shows for other mmos.
I was specifically interested in Hellmar's interview and how you approached it, and in the format of your show generally. let me also suggest some room for improvements.
to the show's format: please don't imitate a news-delivering format as seen in news broadcasts like abc, cnn, bbc and so on. it really doesn't fit the subject, because after all you are not reporting about some reallife accidents, politics and war-times where you need to show a certain degree of emotionless ethical and moralic respect to whatever you are reporting about.
Eve Tv is about a game full of joyful, fun events which you are able to report more dynamically. We are all here because we want to have fun. So please give your show the necessary drive it demands. It's all there.
Secondly another suggestion regarding Hellmar's interview. First of all the matter was quite serious and needs to be taken seriously. Hellmar took an honest approach to it and justified, no he over-justified CCP and very precisly described what measures are going to be taken to further enhance the player-base trust in Eve (and CCP), namley introducing some kind of player-controlled democracy. That's it an that was the message I got after listening to it for 15 minutes. But the interview lasted for several more minutes and the interview partner was more or less repeating, over-repeating. Again I understand the issue and journalism needs to stress certain aspects of an interview to deliver a message. But please keep your interviews shorter, try not to ask people questions which make them repeat things. It was the first interview, and it was with the CEO and so on... all good reasons to extend it. It's great that you get CCP staff for your interviews and I am curious about more of them.
So, now, rock on, get better, you got the potential there, definitly!!!
