Jalipo is a TV/Online client, and you are basically paying to watch what few programs they now have. https://www.jalipo.com/epg/#/EPG/genre/Entertainment is where the 'entertainment' channels are, and for me (I sometimes like to sit back and just watch tv...) its a good thing. I've been looking for something like this, now all they have to do is get Adult Swim anime's and AMV (Channel... I would spend soooo much watching that). BTW, they do have a few cartoons (custom made).
It'd be nice if you had the option to record it (for later) like you can with TiVO, which they could do if they forced you (like google does) to load the files from the server, then they just note 'free' on it. Consider it like a 'pay per view' all around. You pay for only what you watch, unlike cable.

Edited by: Jonny 101 on 26/06/2007 00:12:13 eve-tv worth paying for? as a concept yes. Worth paying for trough jalipo? i'd rather donate my balls to a minmatar charity, and I fly amarr. Worth paying for while they insist on paying semi-attractive girls to pretend liking games and gamer boys while trying to report on things they know -nothing- about? i'm too busy laughing my ass off to actually form a potent enough "no" for this one so excuse the lack of a funny comment.
Give us a PROPER feed where we sign in on a web page, click, watch and for the love of god, 2 pounds pr show? you know what, let people trade eve-tv credits like they do gtc's and i'm all for it but you're gonna haveto make it damn good before I pay that much for a few minutes of amateur tv, and by good I don't mean proffesional***** teasers, I mean quality contents and famous eve personalities.
I like greasy hair, I like chubby little hobbits who fly dominix's!
And farjung...man, farjung brings new life to that feminine grace we seem to have lost in our modern day society
Eve-tv as it is now has to me, been greatly dissapointing and I don't have the slightest urge to watch it, I just hope they dont swap the quality people we had for the last alliance tourny for the screen decorations they hired in for the eve-tv presenting.
Oh and, while I realise the people at quakenet don't really "count" as most of us shun coldfront like the plague, there seems to be a 200 man conensus with me when I air these opinions on the qnet chan aswell, so perhaps you should consider making a few drastic changes?
Unless ofcourse i'm totally offgrid and you're pulling new customers like crazy, in which case enjoy your spinoff. ------------------------------------------------ crash003 > 400k more lp and ill have a navy mega TheJacko > 400k lol TheJacko > ineed 250k The hidden face of turby |

I gotta agree with jonny tbh, I had really looked forward to eve tv but i'm dissapointed they show such lack of faith in the eve universe that they see the need to hire pretty faces completely ignorant to the universe of eve in the hopes of drawing customers, so far eve tv has proved to me that they're going for gloss over contents which imo, is a great shame because it could have been great

I might actually get the next evetv, simply because there is probably going to be reports and interviews about our victories in Tenal.
