Why do you occasionally get Amarr gates in Caldari space (or gates of different types all mixed up)?
Also why are all 0.0 gates Gallente 3, or Khanid Kingdom ones Gallente 3 for that matter (as they really should be Amarr according to storyline)

Because in old times, Amarr built jumpgates into Caldari and gallente space to gain diplomatic relations/trade routes.
Same goes with caldari building gates into amarr/minmatar space.
I believe there are no gates in the warring nations spaces(amarr VS minmatar and caldari vs gallente). As in, no caldari gates in gallente and vice versa. Might be mistaken, but if there are, those are probably post-war gates.
If memory serves my travels correctly, i think the minmatar have very few gates outside their own region, as well as gallente, as they were a bit of underdogs in the wars.
So yeah, i have a problem with being serious, but it's the almost smallest problem i have. |

I always assumed there was a station in system run by the same race that owned the gate (never really checked).
And 0.0 should just be ancient stargates or jove ones, because I don't think the Empires have spent much time out there.

Caldari could swing either way, pre or post war, as they didn't war with minmatar really. But i believe if the stations in amarr space were pre war(i mean pre end of war), they were probably built with slave labour to house slaves and with minmatar resources.
Post war, well, there are diplomatic relations with minmatar and amarr races, albeit a bit volatile. "Bit."
So yeah, i have a problem with being serious, but it's the almost smallest problem i have. |

Only Khanid space afaik in empire at least has no "foriegn" stations. It only has the 4 Khanid kingdom corps and 2 Concord stations
it also has only 1 station in every 3 systems whilst everywhere else it is more like an average of 3 stations for every 1

There's too many foreign gates in Gallente space. Seems to me whoever put them in was too lazy to use the correct types.
Gallente space itself doesn't even have any Gallente-3 gates, they should replace all foreign gates in Gallente space with the Gallente-3 gates, and fix the other 3 empires as well.

I bet they line up rather nicely "rp wise", in regards of the war and such.
Should ask a dev or such, atleast i hope they do.

I thought it might be something to do with past wars and such. there is some random stuff like a bust up old gallente station in Isanamo on Uemisaisen gate.
But the 0.0 all gates the same? And still no explaination as why khanid is all Gallente 3. It would have been Amarr before its separation according to storyline and no good reason why the Kingdom would upgrade to Gallente.
Also am I right in that there is only 1 Amarr style of gate?

Actually not all 0.0 gates are the same theres a few out there that look the same yet have a red jump pulse, commonly refered to as smugglers gates if you look in the info usually built by pirate factions, perhaps gallente design was the most commonly used as they were a federation of states so technology would be shared unlike ammarr that would horde technological knowledge. There are Amarrian gates in Heimatar (Minmatar, incase you don't know) between Rens and Abudban. I know, because I use the thing several times a week.

This is more than made up for by the fact that all gates in 0.0 (that I've seen) are Gallente. Plus all the conquerable stations are Gallente.
I used to get It. Then It changed. Now I don't even know what It is.

I think you mean pre-war. The Caldari were once members of the Federation. And there are a few Caldari gates in Gallente space.

I think you mean pre-war. The Caldari were once members of the Federation. And there are a few Caldari gates in Gallente space.
Actually do mean post war, as there wasn't too much gate building pre-war.
Basicly gates that are built in past few years.
So yeah, i have a problem with being serious, but it's the almost smallest problem i have. |
