So Im not a pc idiot... I just dont understand the difference between the 3 settings. Usually when I think k I think download speed... however, as this is streaming... your going to see the whole thing so download speed doesnt make sense.
Resolution would make sense... but those dont seem to be resolutions.
I checked the faq and all it covered was the different prices between the three, not the difference between the three. Id rather not waste credits trying to figure it out, as I want to watch an entire show to make sure that its something I want to do.

That's the bitrate of the video stream you're going to watch.
Basically, think of it as the difference between a .jpg and .bmp. Take a "High Quality" screenshot in EVE (which saves a BMP), and it'll look perfect; convert that same screenshot to a JPEG and you'll see artifacts; areas of lower quality.
Higher bitrate = higher quality frames in the video but requires a faster internet connection to stream without skips/pauses etc.

I never noticed that there were different prices for the different quality streams. That's like, Fail++? -

pay less for a lower bitrate video? sounds sensible to me. To be honest, I dont notice much of a price difference between them (only tried the 1000 on an 8mb line, and it buffered once for about 2-3 seconds). Anyone tried the 250?

Assigning value based on the quality of the video? As if a highly compressed stream-only video is actually worth anything? It is the content which should determine the value of something. Unless the difference is to pay for more/less bandwidth usage at the server end, in which case I suggest they rapidshare it.
There is very little price difference, but the whole thing costs next to nothing anyway, to complain about the amount is pointless. The issue is that it is a pay-per-view stream. Dumbass distribution mechanisms are ok when it's free (i.e. YouTube). -

6 mbit line in Germany, 1000kbps stream finished preloading the episode when roughly a third of it was over.
