Great tool. Thanks very much.
My only gripe is the multi-doc interface (MDI) - just open the windows outside of the main window. Most of the newer windows applications have moved away from the 'old-style' MDI interface (e.g. Office etc). Something like the way evemon works, open a separate window for the fitting screen, allow multiple windows to be opened, that way each appear on the taskbar and can also be minimized, enlarged etc. Anyway, it's free so just take this as constructive critism :)

If anyone could explain them...
Quoting the author's expanation (third post in this topic):
Quote:
Defence and effective HP are terms that really need to be explained. Effective HP is your hitpoints with resistances taken into account. Defence is amount of DPS setup can tank. Bottom value is your tanking efficiency when you run your booster\repairer on autorepeat and upper value is your tanking efficiency when you turn on your booster\repairer from time to time to not allow your capacitor to fall below peek recharge point.
This still doesn't quite make sense.
I have two ship setups which I'm playing with. One is an absolution and one is a nighthawk. The defense values are 394 and 343 respectively. Which seems to indicate the abso setup will tank better, however, the tooltip information when you hover over the defense values indicates
For the abso: 237, 621, 861, 316 For the nighthawk: 146, 694, 1655!, 364
How are the 'summary' defense values calculated from the above? It doesn't appear to be an average. I would also think the nighthawk value should be higher than the abso given the huge difference in kinetic dps (all other resists are quite close).
Also, I find it hard to believe the kin dps different between the two setups (861 compared to 1655!) given similar resists (91 and 94 respectively - bear in mind one is armor other is shield).
Basically what I'm asking is details on how these values are being calculated.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but could you please add logistics drones to the 'projected effects' window? I'm trying to calculate dps tanking with remote armor rep drones but they can't be dragged and dropped onto the projected effects window.
Thanks again for the awesome app.
