I have been using EFT since 2.8.1. I haven't used it since a few days after I upgraded to 2.10.1 upgrade. I used it again today and tried to update my character by importing it through the API and it zeroed my skills. Characters that have not been updated still have their old stats.
Thanks for the response. I'm glad to hear it's probably not just me. Perhaps CCP switched around the API dump again.
I'll try entering everything by hand... now's the time I wonder whether becoming a skill collector was all that smart!
I had a similar problem a while ago. The soloution I got from ccp when I petitioned it (since it didn't work in evemon either) was to pause the skill I was training on my other char on that account and start training one on the character I had issues with for a few seconds and then switch back. Worked for me.

Is there any option anywhere to have the drone window appear at the bottom of the window like it used to? Opening it make the fit take too much space now.

Quote: About drone window: it's not a waste of space as this panel is planned to accomodate cargo bay as well in future and it's impossible to introduce new features while staying in the limits of old window size. Last version includes a workaround for the bug when closed drone panel does not refreshes image behind it. It looks ugly because of flickering but I hope it's just a temporary solution. Btw, have anyone who uses Vista tried XP compatibility mode?
Can't you just have it expand below the current window instead of on the side then though? It really is a pain on small screens now, especially when trying to work with several setups simultaneously. It was hard to organise the windows so that the most important parts were still visible, or enough of it sticking out to click it before, but now that window popping out means that it has to be redone every time I want to check drones since the drones will otherwise appear below the fitting panel. I can't imagine the cargo thing would be used even nearly as much as the drones, so having the cargo expand left later should be ok.

Would be useful (see multiple requests above)
Still best tool for fitting.
Aswell as being able to check how long cap will last starting from x %, would for example make it possible to check how long a capital will last after jumping in, or if you can run your guns etc permanently, you could check how long you will last starting from the point where you're cap stable with guns when you decide to turn on your MWD etc etc.

Widow with a ECM burst II multiplies the jam strength up to 22.5 - other ships, including ships with ecm bonus's, like the blackbird, do not increase the ECM burst jam strength.
havnt checked to see if it actually does or does not do that in eve however, so not sure if thats a problem with eft or ccp :)
Not a bug. The ECM burst is designed to be a BS module, so only the ECM ship bonuses from scorpions and widows apply to it.
Kentares, try copying this and then tabbing over to/starting up EFT and click yes when it ask if you want to copy the fit from your clipboard and see if you get the same stats with this fit. Also, could you provide a screenshot of the fitting window with your alts badger in it and the error message you recieve when you try to online the last extender? A link to your alts character sheet would also be useful, if you're willing to give that out. [Badger Mark II, Kentares] Expanded Cargohold II Expanded Cargohold II Expanded Cargohold II

Bug report: In EFT, the remote repair augmentor I and II description includes this line: "Note: Does not work on capital sized modules". However, that line is no longer part of the in game description and after testing, they actually do work.

Originally by: Infinion can you consider including cap booster reload time in the capacitor stability calculation? And also the total cargohold
It already is, compare a best named heavy cap booster with a T2 one both loaded with 800 charges, or just check one of them and then switch to navy charges.

Im not using the sensor strength subsystem, just implants and ship mods. Seems a very long way off what it should be in game, ive filed a petition so we'll see if ccp has an explaination
Yeah, it's bugged with T3s and low grades no matter what subs it uses. I had the same problem with my Loki. Try petitioning it if the Legions was the reason you bought the implants.

I know noone ever uses searches on the interwebs, but I reckon you could find something like:
EvE calculates EHP solely based on the lowest resistance, while EFT calculates EHP based on the damage profile you put in,
which by default is omni (25% each damage type) which will always lead to higher EHP in EFT until you put in damage profiles that are 100% your weakest resistance.
More likely is the fact that the fitter in game doesn't apply stats for mods that are not active (i.e. hardners and damage control).
No, actually it's the damage profiles. But thinking you're smarter than others is cool too.
Actually, it's both. In game fitting won't include resists from mods that are currently not running, which further increase the difference between EFT and in game fitting.

But hey, at least you've found a way to say we're all wrong and you're right eh? We're assuming all active mods are on, as that would have been the first things someone would have tried.
No, both of you are right.

It hasn't.
Is there any way to make some kind of custom ship feature though? Like open the tool, input how many slots of each type you want, how much cpu and grid it should have, calibration and rig slots plus base resists and hp amounts, and then get a fitting window for that. Possibly include bonuses, but considering the amount of bonuses that exist in eve and having to tie them in with ship skills, that may be too complicated. Would be nice if a ship like that also got saved so you can quickly open it again later, but would be very useful even if it was only saved until you closed the client.

There is but it requires an external program and its quite complicated (at least for me) involving dat files. I havenĘt figured out how to change what the bonuses is for but you can use a template of a ship that has the bonuses you want and chance the value of of how much of a bonus. 1. Copy the eft folder, and find a Data folder (The only way I know how is by replacing a current ship but its possible somehow to add instead of replace. 2. There are dat files there, I use a copy of 010 Editor v3 that I had lying around but you can use any dat program. 3. Basically search the value(Anything can be change that is in the show info including ship type, ship class, ship name and ship description ect, and can be a trial/ error thing.)from the selection of ship and replace it with the one you want. 4. Rinse repeat Im sure google can help you out more if this doesnĘt help. Cheers
Yeah, I know, but what I was asking for is an official feature allowing us to do it much more easily and without removing old ships.

I just checked, it's the same way as before.

Originally by: Sgt Blade Fitting out a Kronos and noticed something that might not be right. Using 425mm rails on my fitted Kronos, I have a duration of 5.0013 on the guns but when I add a Noble ZET4000 not only gives me +5% to armour repair which it should but my duration for the guns go to 5.26453.
Do you have any implants set in the charachter editor? If you have a RoF implants on the char you're using but then plug in an another implant in the fit itself, the implant in the fit would override the one you get from your character and remove the RoF bonus.
