Well ladies and gentlemen, following the installation of some new security protocols and having received a clean bill of health from concord officials, it gives me great pleasure to announce that "la maison" is open again to civilised guests and worthy customers from the Eve star cluster. The music plays, the conversation is sparkling, and the glitterati of the cosmos gather in fine array and shared aspiration.
It has been neccessary to implement some controls to prevent the entrance of boorish wreckers, so you will need to be "invited" to the channel by a regular. Or evemail one of our hostesses and express your interest and invitation should arrive thereafter.
We do make the following statement plain however:
Until further notice "la maison" has placed a firm and resolute "barring order" on all individuals from the Forsaken Empire Corporation [F-E] and any such persons arriving in the channel will be immediately removed without discussion.
Any attempt to subvert the security protocals will lead to the reporting of individuals concerned pending immediate Concord Intervention.
So, sweet guests, we are back in business and look forward to many bright times ahead!

This has been far too long in coming, but it pleases me to no end (I'm practically dripping with pleasure) to announce that La Maison de Tous les Plaisirs has once again opened its doors to the general public. No longer do you need an invitation from an existing guest for entry, instead the doors swing open for all.
For those of you who don't remember La Maison during its early days, it is a moderated but open channel for Gallente, Intaki and invited guests (and respectful blind-dates) to chat and socialize about the politics and pleasures of the day. This is intended to be interesting, vibrant, sometimes edgy, but always respectful and totally lacking in boorish nonsense. Top secret plans will doubtless be discussed in other channels so it won't be necessary to infiltrate simply for the purpose of listening.
So if you find yourself thirsty for drink and companionship while on a long trade run, or while your mining lasers drone against the same lonely rocks, think of La Maison. As you supervise another run of production goods through some factory in station, think of La Maison. During the long pauses while waiting for battle to be joined, think of La Maison.
Set your comm channel to La Maison de Tous les Plaisirs and enjoy.

This isn't intended as a bump, but...
The La Maison website has a new URL (and some new and updated stuff!). Point your out-of-game-browser to http://lamaison.soixante-neuf.org/. Enjoy!

Yep, 100% open for all!
The website was designed (and about 95% implemented) by the lovely and talented Alexandra Belani, who does signatures, by the way. So if you like the looks of it, and you're looking for a new siggy graphic...
