hey guys trained for abaddon some days ago and i kinda dont like it i think im more the drone guy and now i wanted to have some suggstions of more experienced palyers what to go for
Domi or Curse ....
Domi is 7 days of trianing and curse 60d
another thing is i only have about 2,3 million skillpoints now so i think domi will be easier to handle then right?
can i get some pro and cons about domi vs curse. and i guess nos-setup is best for domi for droning right?
Thanks for the Help

Curse is the better ship for piracy. Domi is the better ship for flexibility. Curse is the better looking ship. Domi is the cheaper ship. Curse is faster. Domi doesnt need much navigation skills. Curse can have more ew. Domi will have a tank. Curse gives you the support skills cheap. Domi is a longer train. Curse is good with only capwarfare. Domi is better of with guns or a combo.

so combo is better than pure nos domi ok. i wanna fly droneboats and abitrator gets boring i think its best to train the 7 days for a domi and after that i go slowly for curse .. so anyone know a good domi setup for pvp and a bit ratting too?

Nosdomi is certainly still effective, its one of my favourite ships. And considering its skillintensity, its really really good. Though it'd loose every time versus a blasterdomi or hybrid domi, with skills.

oh and i always thought a nox-domi is one of the ships that is NOT so skill itensive ;o) damn.
beside the basics (cap, armor, gunnery, mechanics,...) what u rly need up .... t2 drones and nos skills or is there anything else crucial i need?

Ah, no, you misunderstand me, I mean consindering its very low skill requirements, its a great ship.

pick a ship you like for whatever reason and just stick with it.
Your worthless in an abaddon, you will be worthless in a Domi, then after all the wasted time to train for a curse.... You'll be even more worthless than you are in the domi. Sad but true. harsh yet honest.
To fix this problem.... Pick a ship you like for whatever reason and just stick with it. Even if it's not the best ship to go with, your gonna be much better of with 6 months of skills trained for that ship than you would be with having 6 months of skills trained for 6 different ships that all have different skill paths.
This is especially evident with flying a dominix while having all your weapon skills placed into lasers. If you have a months worth of laser skill points then that is a month that you might as well have not been training a skill at all.
Being that you are still fairly new, it's still not to late to change ships if that's what you want. The dominix is a great way to go. You get a nice versitile ship that can be made to work in any situation. Like any other ship, good skills make a huge difference. From there, you can always move to ships such as the megathron and hyperion wich are also great ships.
The main things to avoid are cross-training different races. Training for a domi and drones then changing to a mega and blasters midway into the domi/drones training is bad enough (you end up with low drone skills, low gunnery skills, and maybe even low ship skills), but changing from domi to a curse is nothing more than tossing all the skills you trained for the domi out the window and starting over.

My 2c is train for the Domi, you'll need a lot of skills to use a BS properly, and all of the skills will make the Curse even better.
Get your drone skills up, then after this train the Curse.
Probably the best way to go about it.

Your problem with the abaddon is right here^^
It's a good battleship and your premature disliking of it is probably due to your very low skill points for a ship that requires a lot of skill point investment. Keep training up your skills and in 6-12 months your opinion of it may change.
