I'd say probers would always be in high demand, can't get too many of those.

It's needed but by training one you screw yourself.
I learned a while back (IRL no less): "Never do a ****ty job well."

Leadership skills and BC/CSs
I'm a BC pilot and was always intrigued by the warfare link side. Even though I'm fairly low on sp and my combat sp isn't great(because of the leadership focus), when I was looking for a corp alot were willing to let me slip past their sp requirements just cause I'm willing to sacrifice one high slot and help out their fleets/gangs.

For NPCing, well NPC hunting in eve is basically a solo activity. Sorry, but thems the breaks and even in groups (level 5 missions I guess) its just a bunch of DPS boats. The downside of not having 'classes' with pros and cons is you cant really do anything in a NPC setting other than shoot stuff (read: there are no healers, if there were theyd be stupidly overpowered or horribly ****ty like logistics).
For PVP, if you want to be in demand train for covert ops and be a scout. Its boring and you wont get on many killmails for the all important epeen rights, so a lot of combat outfits have trouble getting anything but someones alt to do the job. If nothing else get in a cheap frig with some warp scramblers, everyone always needs more tacklers. _________________ [SAK] Alumnus--And Proud Of It! -- aka Cpt Bogus Is that my torped sig cloaking your base?

Interdictors if you want to go to 0.0 and pvp. Dont go for sabres as they get expensive fast. If you do make sure to train up another racial Frig V so you can switch to a cheap one if you need.
Good covops/scout. Be able to jump into a system and locate a ratter within a minute or so. Know how to setup warpins, safe spots, scan, probe among other things.
Good inty or fast ship pilots are always needed and capitol ships as well. If you are interested in pvp find what you like and get good at it. I dont know many pvp corps/alliances that will turn down decent pvpers no matter what ships they fly.

Tacklers !
You can never have enough tacklers ... if you get enough you can even "swarm" people and kill them which is the speciality of a certain alliance ;)

so we have :
good tackler, interceptor good scout, also interceptor good warp ganker, interdictor good gang bonus giver,Leadership skills+ command ships and modules good sneak and sherlock, covert ops good medic, logictic ships good pVper, he actually helps keep your 0.0 space a place that non-blue tread with fear or in large groups good gang/fleet leader, it makes a hell of a difference in ops
the above are really desireable as most members just want to pew pew, which is also needed

No one seems to have mentioned Logistics ships? Doesn't anyone use them?
Who is the bigger carebear: The miner who braves lowsec on his own, or the "PvPer" who attacks an unarmed ship? |

I've never seen one in use, and I can count the number of times I've heard about them being used on one hand.
