The first part of the dividends for July was paid out today at 2.0% for the half month or 4.0% effective per month.
We are continuing to re-invest a portion of the profits to recover the capital value of the fund to the required levels.
P.S. Sorry about the one payment of 1 Isk. I accidentally clicked send before entering the amount.
Sincerely,
Eefrit

I think you may have missed a discussion about 3 or 4 months ago, however I will recap the key points.
Due to the changes in game with invention primarily the value of all T2 BPOs was reduced. Right now the value is being kept at the required level by having my personal BPOs locked down. As I do not make any Isk from FIN this is not an acceptable situation for me long term and investors were given the option (not in a vote though, only in discussion) of either redicing the required security and having all the profits paid out, or keeping the security requirement and only having the minimum paid out with the extra being re-invested to bring the security up to the required level without needing my personal BPOs to secure it.
It was clear that the latter option was preferred and as no vote was needed to institute this option, it is what was decided to do for FIN.
For furthur reading I suggest reading back in the Market Discussion forum.

Firstly, sorry about the delay in answering this - I must have missed the post.
T2 BPOs have not started to rise in value again (yes, I think they will in the future), so there is no reason to believe that the re-invested Isk has brought the security (unaided) back to where I would like it to be. As far as valuations go, right now the market is still fluctuating which means there is no way to make any accurate valuation, but my educated guess would put it at somewhere about 150 Bill Isk.
FIN is actually making about 5.1% profit per month, and that has been steady even though BPO values have been erratic. I don't keep exact track of re-investment as it is effectively all there in BPO values, however I would estimate that about 10 Bill Isk has been re-invested so far.
Something to note is that all it takes is a slight price rise in T2 modules (i.e. changes to invention) to significantly increase this. I would be suprised if divideds were over the minimum within the next year.
Please come back at me if I didn't answer your question adequately.
Sincerely,
Eefrit

Right now FIN is not issuing any more bonds, but we are re-selling bonds that people have liquidated for whatever reason. Im sure it would be possible to get hold of at least 10 Bill Isk on short(ish) notice.
I also recommend you look into FIN-U if you have not already.
Sincerely,
Eefrit

I guess I should have spoken up more in the other thread, but what about offering 100% bond value buybacks until the number of bonds is back into the adjusted BPO value total? I know having less isk in the fund would probably reduce profits some, but it seems like a better solution to me. I guess it would also depend on if you could liqudate enough assets to get cash to buy back bonds, and the buyback process might be a bit of a logistical pain (though just putting buy orders on EGSE would be not too bad for you).
Any chance of this happening? I know I, for one, would love to sell my FIN bonds back and buy FIN-U, since I trust you at this point.

That is something that I would love to be able to impliment but practically it would only devalue FIN-U if it was done before the security reached bond value. When that happens I will very likely offer people this option, but right now it is not possible.
