As it is now, the T2 sheet is only for ships, i am working on a T2 item production sheet, but items use alot more different things than the ships does therefore its not easy to mix those 2 productions together and still keep a simple overview of the sheet. yes the Sorting option seems to be broke after doing the XML restore, im working on solving that, but its kind of complicated with this macro thingy.
Originally by: Annaxe I know it's kind of lazy... Sometimes we work (i.e. grind into oblivion) systems where there are four primary types of ore and we demolish all of them. Is there any way we can have a new page that is a combination of the Mining page (with 12 Empire ore slots) and the T1 production mineral information?
BTW... Thank you for your work. ISKies en-route.
I have added 3 more rows under High sec ore, so that should help you when i upload the next version. This topic you refere to was the mining time-calculator, and here the issue is different, i can not add other than standard ore, if i do then the calculation will tell you only to mine +10% ore, which is not possible, and therefore the time will be wrong, at least when its set on basic ore, you will know that when you mined the amount of time it says, then you have the needed ore, if you have +5 and +10 ore in between, then its just a bonus.
Originally by: Deckilin Viod I just started using your tool (great tool btw) But the pos tool doesnt seem to be pulling the info from my corp pos do you have any ideas?
There are 2 reason's why you might not get them. 1st, you need to be Director in the Corp 2nd, you need to use the extended API, the basic is not enough for this type of information.
Originally by: WongKar Wei Ah, I was unclear. This tool doesn't seem to include brokerage costs and production facility costs and taxes. I got the basic thing you lay out here. But when I total up all the other costs that aren't in the spreadsheet, it changes total profit.
You are right, the tool does not include Broker or factory slot cost, the reason is that its a hell of alot of work implementing for something that doesnt have much impact on the total price. You will never get a 100% correct price anyway the tool is only a guideline.
I hope this answers all you questions. Thanks for all the feedback Dedaf

YOU HAVE A AWESOME PRODUCT HERE. note im still in process of downloading 11,4,1 my question my be moot. I do have a question though would it be possible to get some sort of import function for the ore calculator. i change what im needing constantly as it is i build say a capital armor plate i update the qty on hand it changes what i need in minerals which i then need to go change the ore calculator. granted i mine whats there (everything thats there too) but i try to start the day in belts with more of item i need most.
was looking at the sheet agian prior to final submission and noted the in stock minerals being pulled from t1 production. it would be similar to that i think. just with the function of turning off.
thanks for a great product slytihline

I've got Office 2003 non-pro and there should be a way to import the xml some other way. I think you put a password on the VBA modules so we cant see the code - can you give us the password?

Only Office Pro have the XML import funktion, so your only option is to enter the skills manually.

You really have made a lot of work here. And i love it. Just have one question, and the question has been asked here before. And you answered that you where working on getting the T2 Mods implemented, and there is a lot of work here. But just wandering if you are thinking about the upcomming expansion and working on The Dominion T2 Ship production. As, everything you have done in the T2 Ship production sheet, will be changed in the next patch. Im looking foreward to this new T2 Ship production spreadsheet.
Nice work here tbh.

Hi again the sheet configures alot better now thank you but the quatities still dont calculate quite right on them the R.A.M.- Starship Tech should read 12 units for 1 ship built on a -3 bpc not 17 not sure about the others ie -4 -6 and -1 but i think they are 12 units aswell.
Hope you find this right to and i hope i havent just made to much work for you.
Thanks again.

First off Dedaf, I would like to thank you for creating such a powerful calculator. I have not come across one that is this awesome. It really has changed the way I play eve.
Anyways I am well aware that not everything is perfect and I do understand you're doing it for free. So just as a heads up, if you will, there are some errors in the rig prod. calculator.
In the workbook, I have used my api and updated it. I go to the rig calc and plug in my numbers. So for example, I want to build 100 units of small gravity capacitor upgrades. Using my api already, it says I need 4 charred micro circuits, 3 Damaged art. neural networks, and 4 fried interface circuits for a me 0 bpo So I go ahead and conjure up 400, 300, 400 units of the respective salvage parts and fly 12 jumps to where the bpo sits in the corp hangar. I begin the manufacturing process and it says I only need 300 charred micro, 200 damaged art neural, and 400 fried interface circuits. Now for me this is a good thing because it doesn't require me to conjure up any more parts. But on some other rigs I have looked into, I would get to home station begin manufacturing and I am missing 100 units of something.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I checked market for the base unused amounts and it shows the same as the bpo I have in station. Is there a conflict somewhere in my skills that reduces the rig requirements on the workbook when in fact it's not supposed to?
Either way, I am just curious about this.
Thanks for creating such a great product.

Small salvage tackle material requirements are incorrect as well. Says it requires 3 Armor plates, 2 Contaminated Nanite Compound, and 4 Fried Interface Circuit. In-game an ME0 bpo says it's 4, 3, 4 respectively.
All the other rigs I work on seem to be correct.
Thanks :)

Seems I canĘt do it the easy way. Easy way is M rig use 5 times less material than L and small use 25 less than L. 90+% of the times that is correct, but in some cases like the salvager its not. So only way to fix this is to totally reconfigure the way i import the M and S rig material, instead of calculating them as i do now. So im sorry to say i cant fix this bug within a short amount of time. But will try to find a solution to this.

Oh it's no problem dude, just making you aware of the bug.
All it takes is some simple math to figure out what materials I need so it's no biggie.

Hello there. Congrats for the awsome tool, i must be honest i use it from vers 10 . I know that you said in first post that it works under 2003-2008 excel. I want to infor you that in excel 2010 it give an error that` like: "Run time error '9': Subscript out of range." If it`s not too complicated to solve....maybe next vers you`ll do something about it. Thanks for your time, your tool ..and keep the awsome work. Acmon

However, I have a doubt. In the T1 production profit calculation, do you include the manufacture cost: Install cost and Hour cost? If yes, where can we change the value?
Thanks

No installation cost is not included, you will have to subtract that yourself from the sell price you set. But still often the amount is so little it wont matter much in the end, since the import price are also only a approximate.

I have started to use your spreadsheet more and more and I was wondering if you could increase the T1 Production sheet to more than the 20 item rows listed in Production.
As I am just making T1 stuff at present, I have more than 20 items in production so is there a way that I can increase this myself? I might need something like 100-150 rows or even more of items as this helps me keep an eye on what I have in stock and what I can make with current mined or bought materials.
Thank you for an excellent Industrial Tool, when I have some spare ISKies they are yours.

Edited by: Austin John on 27/11/2009 09:10:49 Every single t1 item I look at has the wrong mineral requirements, EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Why is this? I've redownloaded, tried it on a different computer, used characters with 0 in every skill, etc etc etc; And I can't find anything.
I've also found that there's a crazy amount of grammatical and spelling errors in your spreadsheet...
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it, but I can't trust it for anything and is therefore useless...

Just started using this excel file and must say nice work indeed. I did however find something i think is a bit of an oversight.
In the ORE tab, if you import from Tech 1. In T1 Production i have as an example entered 1x Apocalypse and the mineral requirements are show at the top of the spreadsheet including a Total xx.xxx.xxx isk for this production.
When then tabbing over to the Ore tab, to see how much ore i'd need to mine, it shows all correct, EXCEPT in the Morphite listing. It takes the total ISK from the T1 Production tab, and enters it as Missing Morphite for this production in the Ore tab. Obviously this totally messes with the numbers.
Below is two links to show the issue with pictures: http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/74/89332470.jpg http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8194/29703813.jpg
Something that could be updated/fixed?
