Edited by: Dedaf on 02/08/2008 21:18:11 i havent seen that problem before, im using office 2007 myself too. But i know that eve-central is down and has been all day, so maybe that can be to blame, since alot of data is imported from there.
maybe wait and see if you still have the problem when Eve-central is back up. I hope it wont be much longer ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

First of all - very nice work mate :)
There is however a minor bug in the T2 production sheet. The amount of R.A.M. Starship Tech is not effected by the ME-level of the blueprint. It's like the T1 version of the item/ship, it's the exact amount listed that is needed. Like if it shows 15 on the T2 blueprint, I only need 15.
Another thing, how can I add multiple T2 blueprints, like on the T1 production sheet? I haven't checked everything yet, but as I see it I can only add 1 T2 blueprint or am I wrong?
Again, really nice work!

Hi. I love the tool. Apparently I didn't pay enough for Office though as my 2003 version of Excel isn't fancy enough for the import :(
I was wondering is there somewhere you put in what the costs of slot installation/hourly charge is for building things? Wanted that factored into the cost of my items that I'm making and didn't see anywhere obvious for it or it mentioned in the documentation.
Thanks for this, looks pretty handy just getting my head around it.

Edit: Also, your sheet works very good with T2 production of ships, there are some T2 modules that also needs trade goods. Like sensor booster II needs some amount of miniture electronics.
Im not sure i understand the problem about R.A.M, as iv see it they have never changed, but i migt be wrong.
At the moment it is not possible to have more than one production slot in the T2 Production. I will try to make more in later versions.
when i build the T2 sheet i tyed to find out what type of trade goods was needed and i only found construction blocks and rocket fuel. But thanks for the info, i will add miniture electronics in the next version.

I think XML is a standard part of Office but i could be wrong. I think it could be 1 of 2 things. 1 you didnt install all features during installations or 2 your Macro security is too high.
About installation cost, that is a good idea, i will see how i can get that incloueded.
Thanks to both of you for the feedback. ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

Sadly, it tells me I need 'Office 2003 Professional for that Method' and I only have standard. I've tried google searching but not seeming to see anything otherwise. not a huge deal. Thank you for the help.

Edited by: Jake Dykes on 22/09/2008 12:41:10 Edited by: Jake Dykes on 22/09/2008 12:40:50 Hello
was just trying to switch to 10,6,4, but was unable to import my Character details correctly. The sheet manages to import my ISK data correctly but is unable to get the skills it seems, as every skill line comes up with "0". Updating prices works fine. Using Office 2007 SP1 here. The 10,6,3 version I have here, does not have this problem. If I fire up that old version and hit the update button the one skill which has changed over the last week changes accordingly in the sheet.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong here?

Edited by: vsilverleaf1 on 23/09/2008 13:20:11 I have the same issue. Everything imports fine accept the skills. I am using Excel 2007 SP1 as well.
ISK updates fine as it changes, but skills never seem to come across.
Edit: Using version 10,6,4

Can someone verify if they're also seeing this problem.
Jump Freighter Construction, Toggling the Produced at Pos on various components like Crystalline Carbonide/Sylramic Fibers, is not changing the profit percentage (meaning it's not taking into account the lower cost of producing the Moon material as opposed to purchasing) like the pervious versions did.

hi Avariel Yes i can verify it, and to be honest i thought it was a bug too at first.
But this is the reason for it not to change. In the POS production sheet you properly havenĘt selected a L POS (F45 POS production sheet). This means that since you cannot do complex reactions on M and S towers, then the sheet is not able to calculate a build price, because the build price not only include the moon material but also fuel use for the tower. Therefore it replace the build price with the avg market price.
So in short, go to POS production sheet and type 1 in the F45 field and select the tower you use for reaction. Then is should work again.
If this is not the case, then please let me know. |

The XML price and skill update is supported only in Office 2003-2007 Pro. Open office do not support direct XML update
Hi Delaf, guys like you make EVE a great place to be in, this sheet is superb, saw it last night in a friend`s house.
Any news on how or when will it work in OpenOffice?

I provided def with the mineral data for the components hehe. So that page was my idea to him. But on a deferent note I have a sheet inspired to be more for a corporations needs of managing a massive building quantity with automatic build list time distributor. I just have yet to decide if I want to re-polish it for public use because of the secrets.
People should try and make these themselves they are by far not easy to do, not so much as even hard but super time consuming. My sheet took me a week and I still missed a few items. To make them expandable you have to do more work so you have less work in the future to modify and add. Also each persons needs usually very.

I get this kinda error everytime I open the sheet:
"This workbook has lost its VBA project, ActiveX controls and any other programmability-related features."
And I cannot import my character because the Update button doesn't work. I'm using MS Office 2007.

Im not sure, but maybe you are not using the Office PRO version? If you are then maybe the Macro security lvl is set too high, it needs to be max medium. ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

Hmm...nice spredsheet indeed. But when I press the "backup button", the one for T1-production to create a XML file, it shows me an error 75. Anyone knows how to fix this? Using Office 2003.

error 75 isnt much help unless you are a excel programmer, which im not. but here are a few options. 1) you do not have office 2003 Pro. 2) your macro lvl is set too high. MAX: medium

On the Jump Freighter page the only components i can choose from are the standard T2 components. e.g. Deflection Shield Emitter. The Jump Freighter uses Capital Deflection Shield Emitters which have a higher material requirement. How do i get to use the Capital versions of the T2 components in the sheet?

aaah okey, i see the bug, i have fixed it and you can download the new version now. all components are capital components, even though "capital" is not mentioned in the name. ------- Ore & Ice Mining T1 & Capital & Rig Production POS Fueling and Reaction Minerals to Ore calculator |

Fantastic...you work Quick I'm guessing that not many people have been using your tool for Jump Freighter production. Excellent piece of work if i already havent said so.
I did find one problem... The entry for the Capital Plasma Thruster is wrong .. The amount of Fernite Carbide is too low....i think it should be 1320. Are the values hidden in the sheet or is it something i can update myself?
Thanks again Eke |
