I've been running The Blockade in a Zealot but cannot for the life of me last longer than 30 seconds in there. I can run my Medium Armor Rep II indefinately, and have 77,78,80,76 resists. The mission is from the Amarr Navy and the first spawn is a stasis web tower and about 7-8 cruisers.
Any ideas how to complete this? * * * *

The key to completing The Blockade with ease is to not shoot the trigger ships. The trigger ship is the ship in each group that is different from the others.
For example, in a group of 3 Core Lord Admirals and 1 Core High Admiral, shoot the 3 Core Lord Admirals first.
I always shoot the stasis tower first so that I can move freely and keep the blob from mobbing me.

Edited by: Mastin Dragonfly on 24/07/2007 15:29:44 You don't mention the enemy you're fighing against, and you list all four your resists, this doesn't bode well. Amarr agents give The Blockade missions vs Sansha or Bloodraider, which do only EM and Thermal damage, those two resists should be boosted, if you're resists are only 77 EM and 76 Thermal then you're in for a world of pain, they should be well over 80.

Also, the absolutely first thing you want to do is destroy that tower especially if it webs you.
The first wave really isn't difficult and, as the posters above mentioned, keep an eye out for the trigger ship..the one that when killed spawns the next wave. Identify him and make sure he dies last. What I'll do is kill the entire wave minus the trigger and kite him around till my cap and armor are back to full. Depending upon what guns it has, I can even regen some shields. Only then do I kill it and spawn the next wave.
Lastly, since you've done this mission before, keep track of where each wave spawns, Position yourself so as the waves spawn, only 1 group is within range. Kill that spawn group and go for the next. That way even when you do have large wave spawns, you're only dealing with a small portion of it at the beginning.
