I'm getting sick of running missions with my Caracal, and looking for another way to make money.
I'm considering picking up a Badger and making some cash doing...well, whatever industrial pilots do as a change of pace. However, I have no idea where to start. I assume I'll be either "picking stuff up here and dropping it off there" as some sort of mission, or perhaps "buying stuff here and selling it there." What I'm looking for is specifics. Where do I start? Will it make more money than "blow up all these ship" missions?
Thanks in advance.

Make your own missions
Go out, and search around a few different markets. Find what is selling low in one region, and buying high in another for large quantities. Go pick up the cheap stuff, and sell it for mega-profits
Usually, the biggest bucks are made using Carriers in this fashion, to jump to goods up to populated 0.0 systems. But the problem is that the structure of 0.0 changes so frequently that you can never be sure it will all sell, thus possibly cutting your profits ---

Heh I appreciate your honesty, but you're talking to someone with 1.8 mil ISK in the bank. I think a carrier and 0.0 are kind of out of the question at this point. I'm looking for a way to start...isn't there some basic template for industrial "missions," even if they are player made? Like, goods that NPCs at a certain station will always buy for higher than they're selling somewhere far away?

Oh, the courier missions you mean
Well, you just need to find a Courier agent, much like a Combat agent. They will tell you to move object A from point B to point C, and will give you ISK for doing so ---

or sometimes objects A through F to point G and they're all so big you can only fit two at a time.
I did courier missions for like two weeks to grind R&D corp standing and it really really sucked.

Yes but the most ISK is doing 0.0 runs and you cannot always guarentee that you will make it alive.. nor that you could actually dock at the outpost once you arrived.. thus blowing the contract, loosing your paycheck and your collateral...

Courier contracts seem to have gotten absurd lately. They're either not worth the effort (20 jump courier contracts for a payout that is less than what you'd get making a 6 jump NPC trade run), or seem to be either blatant traps or made by people with no sense of 'risk versus reward'. Hmmm, put up 400 million in collateral and make a 25 jump no/low sec run for a 1 million ISK payout? Where do I sign up!
