Hey guys, I poured quite a bit of work into making a piece of software that would help with my capitalistic endeavors.
Essentially, it saves a ton of time and increases your ability to make ISK by making sure that your orders are outbidding and undercutting identified competitors.
I am selling this program for ISK because I don't want it to be something everyone has access to. It is powerful, and I have used it extensively to rake in large amounts of profit.
I offer it for sale this way because I do not know how much longer I'll be playing EVE...
http://www.judgex.com/EVE/ for more information...
I know the site is weak, and the interface isn't the prettiest thing ever, but, this program will earn you a ton of ISK if you know how to use the market. I've made a couple hundred mil with it in about 2 weeks time, and I barely play.
As for the legality/safety of this software? It really just reads your market dumps, and requires no login/password of any sort.
There is an option for corporations to buy the rights to distribute or to stop distribution of this software.
The goal of this software is to rapidly facilitate your market dominance of a region across multiple stations and products. Read up on it, look at the screenshot, and get back with me if you are interested.
Future versions are planned and are free to buyers licenseholders.
Thank you, Praleon Judgement Klan corporation.

You mean it's a market bot? i.e. It modifies the buy/sell preice of your orders without you being there?
As I understand it, that is against the EULA...

Read his post / link he posted. That software analyzes market dmp txts and monitors your orders. It does NOT change them, but it tells you which ones need to be updated etc.

Hi Praleon,
I admire your efforts but I still need to export each item. So I don't see this saving me any time.
Right-click view market details once or twice a day works for me. I will give it a shot though.
Kind regards Aerpe

I did read his post, did you? (oh and the link is broken.. at least it is for me)
I'll quote the relevant bit again: "... increases your ability to make ISK by making sure that your orders are outbidding and undercutting identified competitors."
Now, to me, that sounds like a market bot... unless of course it just looks at the exports and lets you know which orders you need to change. The reason I was asking is because saying it "makes sure that your orders are outbidding" implies it actually does somthing about it if your orders are not outbidding.

Hi guys.
Alright, a couple quick things to point out, related to your replies.
No, it is not a market bot. It takes no actions for you automatically. It is designed for mogul-type people who do lots of high volume multi-product multi-station trading. The algorithms behind it are designed for regional market domination of a set of products that you choose.
From above: "I admire your efforts but I still need to export each item. So I don't see this saving me any time.
Right-click view market details once or twice a day works for me. I will give it a shot though.
Does the software track what solar systems the orders cover aswell. If not it's not that lucrative."
Yes, you do need to export each item, this is true... and for those of you who only buy/sell one or two item types from one or two stations, it may very well not save you enough time to worry with. However, if you are like me, and you buy from 3-4 stations at a time, 4-5 products at a time, this program saves you hours.
How?
Well, instead of viewing market details on each individual product, and then having to scroll down to identify which price is the best sell price at station X and which is best at station Y, then going back and modifying (remembering 3-4 prices sometimes) my sell/buy orders... With this program I just click my products from my quickbar, hit export, jump over to My Orders or Corp Orders, export, load the program, then go back and modify all 20+ of my orders.
Again, if you only have a couple orders at a time, this program will only save you a few seconds or a minute per update... honestly, though, you should consider having more buy and sell orders, since, with a program that helps you identify your obsolete orders, you can manage a lot more in the same amount of time. (Even without the program, managing some buy orders is more lucrative per minute of interaction than mining, so...)
Other answers: Yes, it tracks which systems you are trading in...
"Most of my trading is carefully thought through with jumps, volume, price and competitors. I'm useally not the highest bidder, which this software tends to want you to be." The software only wants you to be the highest bidder AT THE STATION THAT THE PRODUCT IS IN... you have to be the highest bidder at a given station in order to obtain any product. Occasionally, someone will outbid or undercut you with a very small volume. This is why the program identifies the volume for the best order in a station you have product in... so that you can either A) outbid/undercut it or B) choose to wait for that volume of competing product to be satisfied and check again later.
Anyway, thanks again for looking at the software... I am always open to suggestions for functionality etc... I stand by the quality of the product because I am using it as we speak, and i refuse to going back to doing business the old way... so, I do welcome questions and comments about it as well.

Sorry to be so long-winded, but, I just realized I didn't properly represent my program, as I was using it.
From my previous post I made it seem as though it could only be profitable to use with multiple products in multiple stations...
I just used it to help set my prices for Tritanium in 6 different stations, on one product... this process is very time consuming without the program and is one of the reasons I created it. So, to restate who it is good for...
Anyone either: A) Buying/Selling multiple products in a single or multiple stations... or B) Buying/Selling a single product in multiple stations...
Basically, if you feel like you spend a lot of time in the market screen, the program is probably going to change the way you play EVE. It was made specifically to combat the frustration that I felt with all the time I had to spend jumping between my orders screen and various products, and my frustration with often needing to write down values on a notepad and then input them to my orders. I don't do that anymore. I used to spend about an hour in EVE's market screens per day. Now I spend less than 10 minutes, and I buy/sell the same volumes of stuff at the same profit margin. If anything, I make more money because I do it faster and it frustrates me less.

New version 1.0.3 is up, incorporating some constructive feedback from the gentleman above (Galgorth)...
Changes: Widened the display for easier viewing of larger values. Added a Volume column to the Outbid orders section. Added comma seperators to large numbers for easier readability Fixed a yet unnoticed but dealing with the sorting of the listviews.

Edited by: Lobster Man on 05/08/2007 14:44:29 I'm intrigued, but I'd like to see some "real" testimonials from people who are obviously not alts before I go forking over 100m isk. Maybe some sort of demo by way of screenshots also to further convince me...

1) Nobody here is my alt. My complete character list is Praleon and Naraa Bathory. I don't guess there's a way I can prove that, but, whatever.
2) There is a screenshot on the website.
3) 100m ISK is really not very much money for the appropriate intended audience of this program. It is to help manage a large number of market orders.

I'm sure they will chime in with time, Lobster Man. I am only one guy selling the stuff, and it's not like there are a billion marketeers, much less a billion who do enough business to need a time and efficiency increasing program.
You could take the time to look at the profiles of some of the customers in game, and perhaps look at their corps and such...
By the way, does anyone know why you can't paste a number into EVE market buy/sell order updates? It always changes the number on me. I was trying to incorporate the ability to copy the suggested price from the program and plug it back into EVE, but, I came across this strange problem... any ideas/experiences with that, anyone?

That's not good. Sometimes it helps to manually clean out your market logs folder manually before running the program... it is possible to confuse it with old or differently formatted text files, as it assumes a clean/newly dumped marketlogs folder on launch...
If that isn't the problem, it could have something to do with a slightly different system configuration from your XP and my other customers.
I'll take a look at it in game with you next time we can convo, because I need to find out what's different about your machine/setup and others.
I apologize for your trouble, and if we can't fix it, of course you'll be given a full refund. Praleon CEO Judgement Klan Corporation

New version: 1.0.5, recompiled using VS.NET 2k5... may solve the bug listed above, maybe not... if you are a current user you may want to consider installing the new version.
Planned feature: Market Monopoly Calculator...
This calculator will feature the ability to choose a station, set of stations, or region... along with a given product, say Tritanium, and will allow you to put in a new price.
The monopoly calculator will then report the ISK you will need to buy all of the given product at your station/region selection under the new price you have set, and will calculate your approximate expected return for doing so.
I plan to make this feature quickly accessible enough that it will be able to give you a quick result in those situations where you are thinking "should I undercut this guy or just buy his stock and up the price?" While maintaining the power and flexibility to do the same for a whole region, etc...
The price may increase if this takes a while to implement, but current licenseholders may upgrade for free.
