Ok, which one of you was it that artificially raised the price? :P check market data on these things in Jita, someone bought them all and is selling at 50% more. There's huge stacks for sale now. Well, guess I'll wait until it settles down again.

You could always track down a lower cost source & bust that someone's hump with them. Since the price has gone up 50% in Jita, odds are you can find them significantly cheaper elsewhere.

No market manipulation, just good, old-fashioned lust for 50x damage mods on my guns, OK?

You do have to remember that if they go too low, people stop bothering to invent them and invent something else instead. Could be a simple supply/demand issue.

Sphynx may be right here, with invention affecting supply and demand, we may see a few "market corrections" from time to time.
Anyway, very interesting and if anyone learns more, please let us know.

Edited by: Lutien on 08/08/2007 13:35:14 For the invetion of the gyro, you need 2 mech eng. core's. The same ammount you need for a t2 frigate invention. Most frigate's sell for much more then a gyro stab. Ofcourse you get more runs but not that many more. I guess the inventors are inventing other things than the gyro stab. But the main reason for the price increase is that traders and producers of t2 (like me) are know calculating the invetion cost/invetion sucsesion rate, to determine the min cost. With that in mind some t2 mod are verry cheap, especially the ones useing mech eng. core's, like the gyro stab.
