ie there is
1. person with more than 1000000 Billion in their personal wallet 10 people with more than 500000 Billion in their personal wallet 154 people with more than 250000 Billion in their persoal wallet
etc
Best Regards,
Taur
I don't think these results would tell us much. Any rich person who has worked for their money would know that idle money doesn't make money.
Take me for example, I am not uber rich in this game, but would say all assets etc in my possession including t2 bpo's, pos's, mob labs, etc etc, would constitute maybe 65b isk, however the test you have asked for would show me with around 24m in my wallet.

Those Caldari gels are too focused on squeezing every last centisk out of each transaction. 24m will get you plenty of hi-Q Matari slave girls tho. Sometimes volume is better than margin after all.

Ask him to take a look at the inflow of products into the economy.
CCP appear to be aiming increasingly towards player-driven supply of finished products, but there are many areas of the market that are borked because of over supply. Over supply problems exist with many products that are also supplied by NPC's, rather than player 'produced'.
For example, the price of Arbalest heavy launchers is strong because they are only supplied by rat drops and they drop at a decent (not too plentiful) rate. On the other hand, low end hardwirings can be obtained in LP stores (player-driven supply) but also drop from rats and are supplied as mission rewards. In this example, there is an over supply which causes the items to retain little overall worth and breaks the player-driven provision of them, effectively breaking a large part of the LP store mechanic.
Basically, I would want to see items falling into either the NPC-driven (chance-driven) or Player-driven supply categories, but not both; at least not without much stricter control of the NPC rewards/drops rates.

So, I think we got one question answered (market hub comparison vis ISK) and another one that no one asked. So, any updates that people would like to add to the list?

I'd like to see him answer the following questions:
- What quantitative effect have isk farmers/isk sellers had on the economy? How much inflation have they caused?
- How many players/what percentage of the player base makes isk using at least 2 accounts simultaneously?
- How have the various game patches affected EVE's economy? How are these patches linked to inflation, changing ship prices, ISK circulatory volume, and the net 'ISK faucet' rate; that is, the gross level of faucet ISK minus the gross level of sink ISK over some time period.

Perhaps something along the lines of, "How many years will it take for you to get to the point where you can do something that will help the player-run market?"

I'd be interested in that one, greatly, and he probably should be too. I'd imagine things stabilize enough one or two months post-patch to start getting good data for comparison.

Well, at least we've got more metrics than we had before.
So, he is a plus.
Still room for an industry-oriented dev, though. (And heaven help me if CCP tells us they already have one -- what does he do, manufacture shuttles in Jita 4-4?)
