Well it's clear now what the most effective way is to kill super capitals, first I thoughed dictor bubbles, but who needs dictor bubbles when you can just desync the server, which is by far easier that using dictors :P
I thought it was to shoot them when the pilots were offline?

I am sorry, isn't this taken from a goon member during their last pathetic forum drama attempt?
You shouldn't behave like this toward the MC which is one of the finest piece of fleet in Eve and Seleene probably one of the finest leaders. They've probably gotten over this by now whereas if you were them you'd be spamming the forums babbling about unfairness and third party programs which would have caused according to you your deaths.
hahahahahaa

A nidhoggur (sp?) also went down prior to the ms, and lots of smaller losses on both sides.

Well you see, the lag is universal. We could barely do anything ourselves ;) Today is the tomorrow that you should have feared yesterday. |

actually fighters/drones stay on target as long as its in range and they are firing on it... i think its about 1 minute of being out of orbit range and they will go find a new target. They do not attack coherently or violantly switching from 1 target to another while agressing first ___________________________

To bad on the loss, good job taking it down, pee on lag/desynch issues that still plague the capital pilots and esp MS pilots according to those I know and talk too.

The question is, if no desyncs happened, would Seleene and jake sisko have gotten out? Obviously they got out due to the dictors lagging / desyncing as well.

Since 2.2, quite a few fleet battles happened and i didn't experience any desync anymore (compared to 4 - 5 a week before).
Nice job for the MS.

yep, desync is bad. It was bad on both sides, just like always in big fights lately.
An Hel was "desynced" out, IAC screens reported it still bubbled, and the other moment it was gone.
With the Aeon it wouldn't matter, warp bubbles all over the place, major bumpage, cap of the MS was reported empty at some point. (nosses didn't get anything from it) And after that point it went pretty fast :) Oh, and was it mentioned we got an carrier kill also? Not such an big loss, but still worthy of an mention here.
Very nice fight tough, apart from the desync. We even had fun shouting back an forth true vent spies :). Looking forward to the next one.

CCP supposedly didn't reimburse for desynch even when it wasn't fixed. Or at least, that what they told me on my two desynch petitions and yet they then announced fixing this bug in the next patch. Funny that other people keep posting saying that CCP told them something very different on theirs.
*wanders off feeling very bitter.

That is exactly the question I would ask myself if I ended in a gang with Axiom Empire
Don't you have another region to lose, another baby Nyx to fail to defend, and another alliance to abandon in its time of need?

And this is the problem with fielding motherships and titans today, and why almost everyone, on both sides, who previously threw them all over the place, is being much more careful.
With a battleship, if you get desynced, big deal, you lose a battleship.
With a carrier, if you get desynced, big deal, its just a carrier.
With a mothership or titan, if you get desynced, you lose 50-100 billion.
And so, most alliances don't even bother fielding them anymore because if you get a desync, you're dead, plain and simple, and you can't do anything about it.
I wish that CCP would reimburse these losses on both sides until its fixed, but I don't see reimbursement happening, and I don't see it being fixed either.
