So, I got bored with big alliance politics, capital war and low sec. So I decided to go out on my own and bring the fun back. No, not mining in empire, but the counter-part. Piracy! Yarr! Founding my own corp has been something I've wanted to do since I joined up with EVE half a year ago. But back then I didnt have the experience so I went a bit back and forth between corporations, but noone seemed to fit my likings.
Anyways.. I knew I didnt want to war dec any big corps because I planned on solo piracy, well me and my alt that is. I spent a day or two carefully choosing which who'd be the lucky ones. I did some usualy ore theft and the CEO of my target started smacking a tad. :) Good enough reason for a war dec I though to myself. After I actualy found out how to war dec someone.. votes, wtf ccp? I was really looking forward to this. The reason for this is after reading about Darkness Inc and their works on the forum, well thats what got me staying in EVE. Thanks. :)
Well, the war started out a bit rubbish, my target moved away from the area I first found them in so I had to look up my old locator agent. But that was quick enough.. or not, they're staying in 1.0, my main cant enter that since she's -2.2. So i sent my alt to do some havoc, tried ransoming the CEO on the way for 100 mill but he wasnt all that excited about that.
When I arrived I didnt have to look too hard. Well, someone in that corp helped me, first he threatned me saying his mighty alliance, VENOM was coming to get me. But I guess that was bullox so he turned the other way around and told me his corp was doing a mining ops in 5 mins, on the basis that I didnt shot him. Well ok, traitors.. cool, I giggled and proceded. I found them hanging around in a belt, hauler, two frigs and a cruiser, myself in a Thorax. Warped in, my blood started to pump a bit more then usual, which is the sole reason I love pvp in this game, its so exciting.. even when ganking miners.
Targeted the cruiser, it went down pretty fast. He did fit a warp stab, but I had nossed away all his cap anyway. I Screwed around some more ganking here and there, came over another cruiser auto-piloting, engaged, then a Raven from another corp warped in and started to do something.. remote, not repping 'cause he didnt get any armor or shield back. I though oh ****, but stayed calm and down the cruiser went. An hour or two went by where I flew around shoting frigs and haulers untill they just all docked up.
It was starting to get a bit boring, didnt see any of them around so I decided to station camp their CEO. He jumped out in Brutix, I engaged but he docked up again. I Guess it was unfitted or something.. and logged off. "Bleh.." But the night was reaching its climax without me knowing. Some other dude came in local and said he was tired of me and wanted to fight me at a gate. I smelled a trap. I told him that his trap failed but he continued to taunt me. I warped down to the gate to see what was going on, ah.. he was in a cara which jumped to the next system when I arrived at the gate. Hehe, well warped back to station, came back in my pod and humped over. Ooooh.. cara and bb sitting there waiting for my poor Thorax. Turned back to the station. Yes.. I'm a bit of a ***** when it comes to pvp, if I cant win I wont engage.
I yawned a bit while they were station camping me. Hm.. I'm in a 0.9 system.. I wonder.. oh yes, the route was clear for 1.0's. Time to bring in my main in her Hurricane. Jumped the 16 systems and warped in at the station they were camping my alt. They all docked when they saw what was coming. 5v2, two cruisers, three frigs vs Hurricane and Thorax. Well, I dont blame them, they were pretty new to the game. But the table were soon turned again, when I shooed them off I'd aggroed myself to the Raven pilot who were at that time piloting a frig. He then, after a couple of mins came back in his Raven, and all the small ships undocked at me.

I freaked a bit and docked up.. >.< yeah it was going a bit back and forth with a bit of cheering and cursing in local. It was now 6v2, and they had a BS.. what do I do.. what do I do. Heh, I know he wont be aggroed to me forever, but my little war targets will. So I waited it out, undocked the second his aggro went away. The Ravens mates, my war targets didnt know this so they all engaged me and my alt with the thought that the Raven would back them up. Well, lots of fun pew pew and two cruiser KMs for me.
The fighting ended there, for now. I chatted with my new.. friends. :P And they seemed to enjoy it, saying thanks for a fun night and was looking for more next time they saw me.
All in all a sucessfull night for me, got 7 KMs and didnt lose anything. I was really surprised with their counter-attack, all though it failed it was a smart, and good move to take vs me. :) O/ to my carebears for beeing good sports.

Nice read, sounds like a lot of fun.
Don't mind running from fights you *cannot* win, but be ashamed of running from fights one *normally should not* win - that's something different :-P ---- Start of Sig ----

nosing cap doesnt prevent target from warping
anyway yea, i used to do same thing long time ago with a friend, its lots of fun, ask them to pay you for leaving them alone and find anotehr corp to war dec:) and then again and again and again:P
ps. be4 you start a war, get an alt in their corp, dont have to be a trained alt or anything, just one you made on account, that way you will know all their plans etc:D

this only applies to mothership and titans trying to jump out. a ship can warp out with bare minimal cap, it wont go far but it will go off the grid.

It does if they are at 0 cap and try to warp. In other words... if the one doing the nossing has enough nos and cycles them so cap is always or usually perma drained.

heh you instadocked before i even came out of warp. i was looking for a fun 2v1

the Benny hill theme, aka Yakety Sax, was running through my head almost the entire time.
nothing like mining op during war, or auto pilot.

I dont remember beeing at war with you. If you want a fight you know what to do. But yeah, the Benny hill theme would be fitting.
In other news, war dec'd another corp, a more or less random act. Didnt work out so well, got blobbed, lost a cruiser and got station camped for two hours.
Lesson, do recon people!

And a fun turn of events. Little corp freaks and joins and alliance... Allaince is sick of station hugging twits that dock when they know a lose is right outside. So here I am, 3 new wars that our alliance has taken in. We are bloody well sick of greifing corps that can't hold up the dec they threw down.
A couple Halos were in our HQ system last evening and found a drake, rook, and a couple tacklers waiting to play.
To their credit, they did catch one of our battleships a bit off station and popped him before he was able to bring it in.... good catch.
We got to chatting a bit, the Halo's (2 players, one person I suspect) seem decent. Wound up with a bit more than they wanted to chew is a fair assumption.
Well wound up they run away in a shuttle and a frig, we give chase a couple systems. It should go without saying, you know what to expect if they come back. They got a lucky ***** at a battleship on the first day of this war, that wont happen again. Now they got a glimpse of things to come if we see them around. We'll double and triple up on sensor boosters for the next round.... :)
I'll post up and let the community know how this one turns out. My guess is 140+ vs 4 will make for a very, very short war. I think that we'll go camp them till this dec is gone. Being limited to training skills sure does suck.

Bored.. gf's sleeping and my sleeping rhytme (or whatever you call it) is a mess. As trivis stated my corp is at war with yet another group, this time an alliance. It didnt start this way though. A couple of days after I posted my inital story I got convoed in game by player who asked if I wanted to war dec another corp he was chewing on, one quite larger then my first target. Sixty people or so. I, of course, was up for this since my first war was starting to get a bit boring since they didnt appear in gangs or.. well mearly logged on anymore. And to be honest, probing in Suroken is like banging your head against a wall.
Anyway, so I war dec'd this new corp hoping for more fun. They are a carebear corp who do mining operations and all that stuff. They do have a little pvp-wing but they seems a bit too inexperienced to handle guerillia warfare. So they joined an alliance, I was a bit schocked at first since we were now five vs two hundred people. Well, more targets, more fun I suppose. We did get lucky on a kill, a Maelstrom undocked and we bumped off dockin point, he couldnt do much since he was fitting artillery cannons. He popped after awhile revealing a Dread Gurista Large Shield Booster I think, and some other neat stuff. (First time I've seen a target drop faction loot, exciting) My blood was boiling like a fresh plate of cooked noodles, not just because we got a good kill but because we were in the MIDDLE of their area of operations. The cavalry arrived too late though so we bailed and was followed by a blob for the rest of the night.
Yeah, war dec'ing people with two characters only is a bit hard so I've started to recruite a bit. Got some more friends from my old alliance joining who's bored with politics and 0.0 as well. Dont know paying 100+ mill for another week thought, but time will tell I suppose. It has only lasted a bit over a day so lots of time to figure it out.
Here's the KM.

It appears we have racked one more loss. Iios of Cry of Mankind found one of the newest alliance members, less that a week old I think, and managed to down his osprey in a Munnin. When this popped in alliance chat we quickly round up the gank squad..... He quickly docked, hopped in a shuttle, and bugged out. This is becoming the mainstay of the war. It's becoming evident that Cry of Mankind wants nothing to do with the pvp end of Shadow Command. They have proven to be able to find lone alliance members and pick them off though.. :)
While I was on last night we had Avaricha Halo in local for a bit, surely didn't want to undock into an inty, double sensor boosted riftnifty, a rook, and a tempest.... :) Thus far we have been a bit reactive, I'm feeling that from here on we may be a bit more proactive and start with the search agents and hunting. The 2 losses we've taken are quite enough for me. With the amount of people we have in the alliance we should be able to camp out each member of this corp. with ease.
I give Cry of Mankind some credit though for being very civil and fun in local. Shadow Command is full of fun folks always willing to joke a bit. We do appreciate you having a sense of humor and havin' fun with it.
More to come........

DEAG is still holding it. They have added 4 more corps in the last couple months. Shadow Command being one of them. We have had a couple wars to deal with that came with the new corperations, but have dealth with them swiftly. The first two lasted only a week, now we have a couple others as you can see. When I'm online we suffer zero losses as I quicly organize the shadow command boys to gank any nearby targets. As North Star is an industrail corp, they don't benifit from the wars to much. I find it gratifying to issue out a prompt beat down, that is if targets aren't hiding..... :)

It's all to unfortunate, they come out during the day while I'm at work to snatch the noobs. The second I log in after work, organzie my gang..... WOOT! DOCK!!
Look around in this forum at the likes of some of these pirate corps (I will leave the names out). Take notes about how they "bring the fight" and don't back down. Read about how much docking and logging is a cheecky move. You dropped a war dec, we bring the war to you.... what more do you want??
I'm not much for smack, but I would say your first war dec is a success only in that you have managed to take out a few ships. It has failed in every other aspect.
Last night Halo thought to give chase to one of our industrials, within moments, my gang was mustered and escorting our industrail. Got it out of harms way, and trapped Halo at a dead end bottle neck. Wait 15, LOG.
We'll see where things go from here. Still, my compliments on the no smack conduct. To the best of my knowledge Shadow Command has not smacked about the ship loss..... Good sportsman like conduct on that front.
