* Wallet Journal display (both tabular and graphical.) Filter on Character/Date/Type etc.
* Wallet Transaction display (both tabular and graphical.) Filter on Character/Date/Item Type/Station/Sale Type etc. Display your transactions merged over multiple characters. See quantity over time bar graphs. See [min/average/max] price over time line graphs.
Feature requests
Please post feature requests here.
Notes
Please don't, I repeat DO NOT, use your main Eve-Online username/password to register at Eve-Graph.
Yes, wallet data requires the Full API key. Please read CCP's guide.
If you are a real paranoid monkey and don't like the idea of using my website then I can suggest running Ray McCormack's software on your own web server. Having said that I think my site does a few things his does not. For people without a web server this might be what you are looking for.
The version currently live is still in beta, I would be grateful for any bug reports.
Please remember, Eve-Graph is mainly for my own use but I'm hoping others might find it useful. If you don't want to use it then don't.

You said you were going to add a gigantic warning. Thank you for editing your page, but I was hoping you would make it a little bigger, then I promise I will have nothing to gig you on. Thank you so much, Tomar Lyonsbane, but I won't trust this 100% until the warning is bigger. I am almost at 100% trust, so hold on and please help me fix it. :)

I also am almost at 100% trust, perhaps a small donation of one meeellion ISK would secure my trust.
What? You say you spent your time and offered a tool to the public, and don't really care if I use it? *ego deflation*
Like any third-party, it is what it is. Thanks for the time!

You can but I'm afraid you'll need to use the Full API Key to access wallet data. Not my rules.

Tomar, you have done a great job on this tool, and I'm loving the recent updates. I log and check the progress of my buy and sell orders while at work so that I can plan out the next day or next week of activities. EVE-Graph has become a vital tool for me.
Keep up the great work m8 and I hope more people take the time to find out how nice this tool works.
As for other ideas, I think it would be interesting if you could start to use the data to perhaps setup a mineral index, or for that matter, an index of any product that people happen to be buying or selling.

Thanks for the feedback.
I have something really cool planned with regard to minerals for producers/manufacturers. Watch this space.
I am also going to add an option that should give traders a helping hand in working out their margins.
I also want to clean up the interface a little and add a few more filtering options. I have some new statistical work that will be going live shortly.
Not much will be added until after I have finished flying in the alliance tournament this weekend though.

Hey Tomar,
I was using EVE-Graph tonight and an idea hit me. I would love it if the site would allow me to set a cost to any item that I sell, and then provide me with a report to see just how much profit I have made in whatever time-span I set.
I am looking forward to the wicked new updates that are coming soon. Keep up the great work m8.

I have something along these lines planned (although I'm still unsure how to present it to the end-user.) I want to do something really clever with it so it is still "on-the-drawing-board" as it were.

Hi there, Ive been playing about with your graph for the last half hour or so and it seems pretty usefull. I definatly like some of the functions it gives you.
To be critical for a moment tho - would it be possible to put some more colours into the tables. red for outgoing green for incoming isk etc? And maybe some more descriptive keys on the graphs would be nice
Just a UI enhancement really.
Otherwise - good stuff, well done.

Yes, I'd find this useful as well - almost all my transactions are done via a corp wallet. Also, under the journal options, could you add the types 'copying' 'Researching material productivity,' 'Researching time efficiency' and 'Researching Technology'? Hi, just started using this tool and I must say it's damn satisfying to see ur wallet expand while at work!
Good job!
One thing tho, is there a way to see exactly how much ISK in total I have, adding up escrow, current sell orders and ISK on hand?
I thought Total Transactions was it, until I realised it was adding up sell and buy transactions.
I currently use OpenOffice to add up total worth from an ingame Wallet export.

Just tested it now, seems to work. Are you sure you are entering your User ID, Character ID and API Key correctly? You need to fill out all five boxes. Drop me an email if you need to.

Just for the information of others, the issue was mistakenly entering the Character Name not the Character numerical ID that the API requires. My HowTo page contains instructions on how to obtain this information.

Hmm this is a bit like IT help asking if you got the computer switched on
there are 5 lines
1st 2 are self chosen user name and password
3rd line is user name which is a 6 digit number
4th line is character name which is me
5th line if full api
all these have been entered correctly but i still get the error
i have evemailed you the 5 pieces of info needed and asked YOU to try registering with them to see if you can replicate the error

As I mentioned in my mail and again in this thread it is the 4th line that is the problem. You are entering your character name instead of the numerical character ID that the API requires. The HowTo page is also quite clear in this regard.
The API requires the ID rather than the name because names can change, the ID doesn't.

Ok i can see where i get the numerical user id and full api key from
But unfortunately i really cant see where i get a numerical character id from
Am i missing something really obvious here?

I've started using your application and I have to say that it is incredibly efficient. The process of putting down the info in my numbers sheet was really painful with all the different things I sell, but your app has made the process extremely easy.
Thanks a lot for designing it and letting us use it.

Thanks for the great feedback. Eve-Graph is going from strength to strength with more regular users than ever before. Now I just need to find time to upload my fancy new features.

Edited by: Raimo on 21/02/2008 16:39:03 I registered, seems like a cool app, but one thing is missing:
Originally by: Slasher Arcana Hi, just started using this tool and I must say it's damn satisfying to see ur wallet expand while at work!
Yes, would be very good to see the total worth of all sell orders, money in buy escrow and the wallet amount. Also a histograph of this would be very handy...
It seems that none of the wallet apps offer this, or am I wrong?

Excellent work, exactly what I was looking for !
Nevertheless it would have been great to add the possibility to see my active buy and sell orders but I don't know if it's possible with the current API.

Uh, Immaterial posted about corp wallet... Not NAV calculator.
But just a bump about that, a NAV calculator would be very handy to have. Wallet+buy order escrow+ sell order worth with current asking prizes, with a graph over time. Would be great.

Edit: OK, it's working now. However, there seems to be date range issues. Currently I'm only looking at the transactions page:
- If I select the end date as today, then the start date is ignored and it uses the last 7 days. No matter what I put in the start date, only transactions for the last 7 days are shown. However, the 'range' column in the list DOES show the correct number of days, i.e. 54 or whatever I have asked for. But the list of transactions seems to ignore this and just use the last seven days.
- If I select the end date as older than 7 days ago, then I get zero transactions found in this time period.
My initial guess is that it's something to do with me being in Australia where we use the d/m/yy date format, but you are using iso format in the input boxes and the 'range' column seems right so perhaps it's something else.
Ideas? Something I'm doing wrong?
Well, I tried again today and got the same problem, it just won't show me any data older than the original default date selected. Not sure if this is an API problem in general or just this application. I suppose I'll try that Emma thing and see.
Would be nice to hear something from the author, though :)

If I have read you correctly I'm pretty sure this is not an Eve-Graph issue but a consequence of how the API works. The amount of data returned from CCP is bounded. Eve-Graph can only display (the bounded) data it has fetched in the past.
Hope that helps. Sorry for the lateness of the reply.

Otherwise very nice tool, may I add my voice to the requests for a NAV graph.

Eve-Graph usernames and passwords can only contain upper and lower case letters and underscores. If this is not your issue can you email me the fields you are entering so I can debug it?
