When I first decided to use a tengu for exploration, I nabbed about 7 Pithum C-type medium boosters, a gila and worm bpc, 1 pithi a-type small shield booster (got the holy trinity of drops in Gurista Watch final escalation, both a-types and the worm bpc) and a handful of implants/c-type hardeners/faction loot inside of 2 weeks. This was when I was still doing Gurista hideaways while probing as well and when I discovered I could get escalations from them. Granted I was playing for probably 4-5 hours a day (was off from school) and it was when I first started using DSP (before it become public info), but yeah, good streaks happen, just like bad streaks happen. |

I know you're joking, but the big difference here is that isk made from exploration is largely not due to new isk in the game (overseer effects aside). It is isk that is already being circulated being used to pay for the sexy drops. On the contrary, incursions give out enormous amounts of raw isk. Take it as you will. |

Not if CCP actually introduced new modules or bpcs for new modules only attainable at the store that the every day pilot would want (lol named capital mods).

If you keep accurate records of your hi sec exploration for let's say a month you can figure out that average income is right about 100 M/hour. .
That average has so many factors hitting it (locations, drops, escalation, etc) that its completely useless.
There is no isk/hr value that can usefully be applied to exploration. |

Eh, the problem I have with it comes with the inherent meaning of "average." The probably with calculating an isk/hr or isk/anything average is that the difference between highs and lows can be so massive that any sort of average becomes largely irrelevant when trying to actually apply that isk/whatever to any sort of discussion of your earnings. |

This guy sounds jealous and stupid. |
