Only a fool alliance would allow cowards to rejoin their business. I smell an obvious end game conclusion, war on the cowards. End of story.

as far as i know this is not an exploit the first or second time, but if you are decing an alliance just to shoot at a particular corp which tries to evade you then a gm might hold them down.
I KNOW that in the case of player disbanding a corporation over and over to get around war decs the GMs will swoop in a hold them in one corp for you. ------------- Hadean Drive Yards

It's not an exploit, nor is leaving the wardecced corp, scouting former WTs out, blobbing up, then all rejoining at the same time.
Just a chicken**** honorless thing to do.

This is something I've never understood.
Really...NEVER understood.
You wardec someone who doesn't want to play pew-pew with you, and leaves their corp / alliance to avoid the war.
Said would-be pew-pew(er) then whines to a GM because they aren't getting to pew-pew said person. There are plenty of folks everywhere at any given time who would gladly pew-pew with you.
OP, I'm not directing this to you, just in the general direction of everyone who does this. So there's someone who doesn't want to pew-pew with you. Instead of luring them, or infiltrating them, or suicide-ganking them, you complain to the GMs that they don't want to fight with you.
Lemme guess: You got smacktalked by them, and feel morally offended and determined to seek retribution. Um...grow some thicker skin?
Perhaps there's something drastic that I'm totally missing here. =p Anyone?

If anything, war reasons.
If you want to attack anything, including real life, it gets a lot easier disabling their production and supply lines. In Eve, if you war declare someone, its hard enough to take out production and supply lines due to invulrable stations etc, let alone if you are fighting the empire aspect of the war and if they leave the alliance you cant even try and catch them without a second war declare.
It is cowardly, and it does suck, but for disabling a enemy there is no better way then taking out their production systems while at the same time enagaging their fleets. Destroy both fleets and production, and the enemy dies. --- We are Recuiting! If you have what it takes, click me! Oh yeah...click me....yeah... |

Brilliant! Why not just get rid of the war dec system and make a little box appear that says "let this person shoot you? Yes/No" appear every time someone tries to agress? That ought to let people circumvent the non-consentual pvp design of this game without all the fuss they had to deal with before.

if anything else fails, use fire
BTW wardeccing an alliance isn't the same as wardeccing a corp :|
for the avoiding wardec = just do as every pirate does: follow em, seek for their missioning base and just perma-camp the LS zone they frequent

You pay for the ability to shoot said persons, you don't get the ability to shoot said person.
If you bought a ship/module off the NPC market and didn't get it would you not complain? ------

I'd compare it: Corp disbanding and reforming = alliance disbanding and reforming. |

Bad comparison in my humble opinion.
You pay for the ability to shoot said person and they move far away.
You pay for the ability to shoot someone and they stay docked until the war ends.
You pay for the ability to shoot someone and they play an alt.
You pay for the ability to shoot someone and they leave the entity that you wardecced.
If you have a beef with an individual person, who is avoiding your ability to shoot them, then assemble a gang and suicide gank them, or social engineer them into a compromising situation, or use an alt to infiltrate their corp and kill them...
I still think its lame that when someone avoids the default method of getting shot in highsec, people whine to the GMs instead of putting in a little more effort to make them go boom.

Just a slight note here Corzon, people whine to the GM's about EVERYTHING, not just pvpers and pirates you know ;) --- We are Recuiting! If you have what it takes, click me! Oh yeah...click me....yeah... |
