Edited by: Dark Shikari on 16/08/2007 04:20:59 This will be an ongoing report; this post will be updated as I get more information.
Now that I am CEO of AATP with Yukari Tanizaki, my alt, I have the ability to begin assessing what exactly AATP has and what we can do with it. The report was delayed until today as my CEO powers took one day to take effect, after the vote.
Current meaningful assets:
Master Wallet: 6.734b H-TI Shares: 9000 First question: What are these shares worth? Last month's per-share dividend: 333333.33 ISK The T2 market has definitely dropped in profit since invention hit, but on the other hand this has made it a much more stable investment, since there is much less of a drop on the horizon, unless CCP considerably changes invention in the near future.
H-TI is one of the oldest public corporations in EVE. If I remember correctly, it is even older than ISS Marginis, making it the longest-lasting investment in EVE history. This, hopefully, means it is relatively secure for the future.
I do not know anything about the actual NAV of H-TI, and I would think such a thing would be hard to measure given the volatility of BPO values in the wake of invention. If H-TI is seen as being comparable to FIN, with a relatively secure but low yielding investment of 4%, then these shares can be valued at 75 billion total, or 8,333,333.33 ISK each. Of course, if one expects higher return, they are worth comparatively less. Cap II BPO share ISK: 21 billion (in EMFI AATP's wallet, apparently, so I do not have access to this at the moment to confirm its existence). Material assets (all prices Jita lowest sale price): 34 100mn Afterburner II (3.717m each) 400 150mm Autocannon II (260k each) 2268 Gravimetric Backup Array II (75k each) 44 Magnetic Plating II (95k each) 63 Medium Pulse Laser II (98.75k each) 31 Medium Shield Transporter II (347k each) 2920 Mining Drone II (50k each) 443 Thermic Plating II (130k each) Total: 625,226,250 ISK Since some of these will take a long time to sell off for obvious reasons, and prices are volatile, this ISK is less available than the rest of the ISK, though the most valuable of the T2 is likely to be sold quickly.
Total subjective valuation: 103.36 billion ISK
This puts the NAV at 10,336 ISK per share, assuming the existence and recovery of the 21b in EMFI AATP's wallet and the eventual sale of all leftover T2.
More updates as they come.

Actually planned to drop the 21.085b in a seperate division, but can't do that as a regular employee of the corp :)
Isk is xferred to the CEO... (so I guess I can't use it to buy a Mothership to be security officer of AATP eh?)
cheers.

A normal player can transfer isk to any given division I believe. I could though, so if my access levels are allowing it and a standard player cannot follow these steps, please correct me, but I am able to do it via:
Show Info on the Corp itself. Clicking the lil white Arrow at the top of the corp info screen just to the right of the corp logo, and select 'Give Money' from this.
On the pop up box that appears, top line is a drop down box for which division you want to use. Rest as normal.
Again, if this is merely my access making that possible, lemme know. I haven't tested from a lowly alt, but you can change division from the give money interface, so here's to hoping you can. :) ---

Congrats on new post and getting a good report on the assets together so soon :)
In your safe hands and with a reasonably good NAV this should help EMFI no end
Thanks for the kind words on H-TI. The average monthly payment from H-TI is usually a bit less, that was a good month, but the shares would sell if they were on the market, or to private buyers I'm sure (or exchange back for BPOs which would sell as well).
How did the STUFF shares figure into this asset sheet, had they been liquidated and the isk is in wallet?

Where is Capital Retention going to occur? According to the blog it should be occurring in H-TI, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I don't know about this. We could have a shareholder discussion and vote on whether we should dump everything to dividends or have capital retention.
One thing I am almost sure we will have is a shareholder discussion on what to do with the nearly 30 billion in ISK left liquid in AATP. I don't want to make the decision personally; I want ideas to be thrown around and their merits to be discussed.
Whether capital is retained or not probably will depend on what is done with the ISK.

Well.. as a corp HT has always grown (because they do capital Retention) The NAV has grown from 500k/share (about 2.5 years ago) to 10mil/share (about 10 months ago) and is of course lower right now because of the T2 crash.
I think on average HT retains 1-2bil/month so that translates to about 300-600mil for AATP (33% holder)
of that ¦30bil in AATP.. part is income from last month, part is liquidation of STUFF and CAPII holding.
The capital should never be divvied (not fair to drop NAV that much, and would require a trading freeze since people would cash 3k divvies and then sell their shares for 9k or something.. to people thinking they got a good deal.. also will make accounting a hell.

For anyone interested, the current AATP business consists of watching the market for good blueprints to buy, along with a minor reselling operation I'm running in Jita for a bit of extra cash.

what?
Well as I read it, extra billions have been recovered/found as mentioned in:
1st update - 21bn recovered from the CAPII BPO share; 2nd update - ~1bn found on EMFI Hauler, apparently an old AATP alt.
Future updates - Hopefully more good news from the guy who knows how to make isk :) Visit the EvE Galactic Stock Exchange in game or out
