To me at least the Dungeon idea sounds very promising. This is something I have been missing for quiet some time.
To be able to fly around interesting backgrounds and well shooting things and working in teams, and integrating with the scenario could be very interesting.
Just a quick (and perhaps silly) example:
For example first attacking a station, taking out their defences, using different amounts of ships to kill them, have an industrial ship pick up some radiactive core components from the exploded engine and bring this into the base to destroy it. Everyone fly inside the base destroy some turrets and ship, perhaps introduce some kind of navigation system were you avoid walls etc. You enter the core having to protect the indy all the time and place the instable material at the center, quickly leaving before the blast. Afterwards collect debriy and items for reprocessing and selling and collecting reward from Concord. /Phoibos

I also think that when going on these dungeon things, our ships should be emitting sparkles and other assorted glitter at an amazing rate, just like in EQ __________

Dungeons? This isn't Ever*****.
Here's an idea, give us functional leadership skills with a UI. Hell, give us a functional leadership skill period, yanno, where leadership actually effects your max gamg limit.
That way you are forced to coordinate groups of players instead of lumping everyone into one huge gang and throwing yourself at another huge gang.
Let's see formations, tactics, evasive manuevers.. let's make combat more fun in general. ------

The "Dungeon" concept could be quite interesting. I'd imagine it being more like the epic encounters in outdoor zones in EQ.
Scenario:
Set up a series of systems connected in a somewhat linear arrangement. Have each gate defended by an integrated defense system of destroyable guns/launchers and protected by a mixed NPC combat fleet including "named" opponents. Bases in each system along the way (increasing in difficulty) can be the primary targets (the "Dragons") which are also destroyable with considerable effort and risk. Named mobs and stations drop high quality, and high volumes of named or uique items. Reward needs to be proportional to risk. If it's going to take 50 ships and we'll lose 10-15 of them, we want some sweet stuff.
Yes it is redoing every other MMORPG to some extent, but it would give a challenge to the large corps and organizations. It would certainly give people bragging rights of a different sort and a way to introduce some nice stuff for a change.

Aye; still no idea why am allowed to make gang of 30-40 when my leadership skill is at lvl.2 --;
(might help just a lil' bit with the 'hundred ships in local' problem, too...)

Woha. I never played Everquest myself :P But i think it would be more interesting that we had more scenario that just empty space. But well you guys always seem to take ideas so nicely.
