I have been wondering how the GMs manage?
The GMs are flying Solaris ships. Whatever that is. They are helping people around the Universe with possible and impossible tasks. They get money playing our favorite game. GMs are not in any major corps, at least, they are not part of the governing section. And not with their working account.
Now, I am wondering if a GM can take some time from his work and explain what it really is being a GM. How does he help people, do they, like waiters have certain areas to service, are people grateful or do they demand more and more, dealing with in-game macroing, exploits and scams. Do you even plan ahead when you're offline, much like most of us do?

Firstly its polaris frigs and from what i understand of it they don't use the standard EVE client they use a different one which they restrict to office use only (atleast thats what i remember from the last GM recruitment thread that was posted a long while back) basically they would just answer all those petitions people file and would look at logs and whatever to see if its a real petition or whatever.
Would be nice to see a diary of a typical day though :P ---------

Indeed would like to see a day out of a GM life.
Are you always online on tranq when your at work or do you mostly use the web interface ( I thought I read something about there being this web interface for gm's? )? __________________

ôWar is not the dreadful end to all things as mankind fears. Conflict brings balance to nature as it adapts, mutates, and transforms itself into something stronger than before. Mankind is the master of nature because we can choose those mutations on our own accord. We can accelerate the inevitable dominance of a species. Through war, we can make ourselves stronger at the time and place of our choosing. War is not hell, far from it. War is beautiful. War is divine.ö - Grand Admiral Mekioth Sarum, excerpt from a commencement speech to Paladin graduates of the Imperial Academy, 23215 AD |

I would say thier life is.....busy lol.
Personally, I would rather like to know just how someone can become an EvE GM? Do you just apply to CCP? Do you have to resort to blackmail, threats and so on lol.
Seems to me to be quite a worthwhile job, well, better than my real life one anyway.
