I just got a notice from my bank that CCP has been flagged as "Fradulent" and they will not allow payments to them anymore.
Whats the deal?

This wasn't just my bank; they called a visa representative to confirm it that no payment that i make through the CCP website with my visa check card doesn't work.
Is this BS or what?

When I first signed up for EVE online, I got a call from Visa - based on my purchase history, the charge going to a small company in Iceland looked a little strange to them. I told them that I actually made it myself and that it was all good and they authorized it. But being flagged as Fraudulent seems a little weird. Perhaps people whining about reimbursement for server downages have reached a new low? ------------ Whiners - Unite! Tarminic - 26 Million SP in Forum Warfare. |

For 2 years I've used my visa card; and now they decide to block it. After asking them to allow it even then they won't allow it.
It's the ***.

They won't let you even if you expressly authorize it? I'd ask for someone higher up if I were you. ------------ Whiners - Unite! Tarminic - 26 Million SP in Forum Warfare. |

Keep at it. Get a bit harsh if need be, but don't cross the line into abusive territory. If after a few times, they insist that they don't remove it, guess you'll be wantin' a better card.

Dude, then what you do is ask for their manager, and or cancel your card. Any bank that won't allow you to purchase what you want to purchase doesn't deserve your business.
I've never heard of anything like that before though, so it's most likely you were talking to a complete idiot who had no idea how to do their job.

I just had the same thing happen to me. I couldn't get my visa to go through to reactivate my account. A little while later I got a call from the Visa security department informing me that they were having an issue with 4 online games, one being Eve in that fraudulent charges were being generated. They advised that I not use my Visa to pay my Eve sub. I politely told them to shove it, and told them to authorize the purchase. Which they did, and it went through 5 minutes later.

Had the same problem with my MasterCard the first time I tried to start playing EVE. Actually, had the same problem when I recently resubscribed. I can buy Game Time Cards fine from American resellers so meh.
