Greetings all.
I consider myself to be very "green" when it comes to trading. I have been reading these forums for some time to find out how to trade and what to trade. However, to begin my adventures in trading, I was curious whether you all found it useful to use a corp for trading purposes?
What I am doing is buying my items and then taking them to 2 separate markets for sale. However, I use 2 market alts to do so. I have noticed that my market alts are not able to adjust the corporate orders unless they put them up for sale themselves, so I always have to trade the items to the market alt to get them on the market do deal with prices changes. The good thing is that the money flows directly into the corp.
But am I making this too complicated?

if you are using multiple accounts at the same time then it is not too complicated - if you are using 1 account at a time then yes it is
if you want to make a corp to get other members to haul for you then that would simplify things for you most of the time but you would have to make them pay collateral unless you want to have your items get lost one day ____ __ ________ _sig below_ devs and gms cant modify my sig if they tried! _lies above_ CCP Morpheus was here Morpheus Fails. You are correct you can't alter another character's orders. Which is very frustrating if you've got more than one RL trader in your corp. One way I get around this is by using short order durations, but that may not be best for your situation. Si non adjuvas, noces (If you're not helping, you're hurting) |

Do broker fees work off of corp standings if a character is otherwise completely neutral? If that's the case there might be incentive for a non-standing trader char to team up with someone with plenty of browny points.

nope... just player standings (mostly faction plus a bit of npc corp) - putting the gist back into logistics |

Is it worth it to start a corp strictly for trading?
Yes, it is in most circumstances.
