I read somewhere that the original intent with the Industrial class of ships was that they should be fitted with all sorts of neat modules to do things which. Modules that'd require capacitor. That's why they have so much of it.
But this never occured. There are no "do stuff" modules which it makes sense to put into an Industrial, and therefore they've ended up to be haulers, haulers and sometimes also haulers.
I predict, with infinite certainty, that these industrial modules will never come to exist. Industrial ships are stuck in their role as haulers.
Haulers don't need all that capacitor. Therefore, CCP ought to gradually reduce the amount of cap, in Industrials, by perhaps 5%, 10% or 15%, every 2 or 3 months, until cap amounts have reached levels that make sense for hauling ships.
It may very well be the case that some haulers (big ones like Iteron MkV) will need bigger nerfs, like -15% every 3 months for 9 months or even 12 months, whereas small haulers might need only -10% every 3 months for 2 months, in order for each of them to reach reasonable cap values.
P.S.: I'm extremely curious, about what those intended industrial modules were about in the first place. I honestly can't guess.

I totally disagree with this idea - the cap levels on iteron V's are as they should be, have you tried doing 20 jumps in one and running out cap ?
WHY do people want to nerf every element in Eve .... if it gets much worse lets rename the game to World of Warcraft!!

Yes, it doesn't need a nerf.
Ever tried fitting a shield buffer on a badger mk II with 2 invul fieds? When said invul fields are activated, it eats your cap. Hell, I'm more inclined to ask for a cap buff instead of asking for a nerf
It's not because you don't need any modules besides cargo expanders in highsec for most of your work, that others don't need the cap for their modules. Going without a some sort of hp buffer in lowsec and 0.0 is downright suicide. For said buffer, you might need cap to have the most effective buffer.

For a little bit, I thought you had made some screwup and were talking about CPU, but CAP?!?!? Industrials don't need their cap nerfed, it's not like they can fight anyway. Besides, hauling stuff is a slow, boring task to begin with, let's not make it harder by cutting down the jump range. -------------------------------------------------- ICE Blueprint Sales |

Easiest kills as the industrials will be incapable of using defensive modules and will have jumping range reduced.
He must be really bad at pirating .
