If you aren't PvPing in a group, you have far worse problems than "Caldari ships are Teh Suck for PvP"

Ignore what people say about "it's all the same if you get called primary" - WRONG!!!. I once saw a well-tanked Raven put up with the combined damage output of a fleet of three dozen and take so long to die that it's buddies took out three opposing battleships (o/ Burn Eden. That fight was fun!).
It comes down to simple maths - if a ship can survive three times longer than it's opposite numbers, then you kill three ships for every one you lose, meaning that the other fleet needs a fairly major numerical superiority to compensate.
Right on.

As most inteligent people know the raven gets owned in most 1v1 situations.
Aside from electronic warfare, the raven just doesn't have the DPS the mega\geddon\apoc\etc have.
So what are missle specd bs pilots to do in pvp?
Nothing.
find some damps and get in a gang.

What Caldaris should do?
well put up a gang of 1-2 Rapier, 1 Lachesis and 7 Raven (= about 21000raw dmg per volley with CMs) against some Gallente Heavy Gang, spread your gang out a good deal and see who wtfpwns who....
If you are talking solo, best be alligned and ready to warp in a split second :-)

Getting back to the topic at hand, here's my 0.02 ISK.
Someone a little ways back said that Caldari don't solo pvp well because medium slots on Caldari ships are used for shield tanking as opposed to tackling.
This is the root of the issue, and is 100% the reason why you should gang PvP with Caldari ships.
There's nothing wrong with Caldari ships for fire support - in fact, that's what you should focus on about them. Since the med slots are used for your tank, focus on it. The Rokh, which has very nice +shield resist bonuses per level of Caldari BB, is a great ship for blasting, and just as good for sniping.
Play your race's strength. Cruise missiles at close range hit pretty quickly after launch, especially with high Caldari BB and Missile Projection. Missile PvP is very possible, you just gotta stay in close so your missiles don't fly forever and lag behind on DPS.

Is that usable as a gang ship? He managed to solo machariel so I guess this fit works or FleshDiver is lucker  .
