Upon this day August 24th, 21:25 EVT, the Liberation of
20,000 Slaves from Amarr Space was Commenced and Completed
with out Incident.
All my passengers had approached me personally and requested
to be taken to Republic Space.
I agreed, but what had started out as a small number became a
Mass-Exodus. Individuals and whole families who had, by one
means or another won their Freedom, came to my hanger doors in
a location best kept secret.
They came from all walks of life, some well-treated and many
bearing evidence of poverty and abuse.
Their pleas were something no humane and tender heart could
refuse.
I have invested a good part of my personal fortune in
residential estates for these people, and Electus Matari
Educational Facilities and Libraries have been made freely
available for their use while I begin the search for their
families and friends and arrange treatment for the few
addicted to Vitoc.

It was a pod pilot much like yourself that rescued myself, my parents, and my brother from the clutches of the filthy Amarr.
All those many years ago, I still remember it. Even more fitting, he was a citizen of the Gallente nation as you yourself are.

I cannot help but ponder, 3ll3, what's your real intentions in this?
Surely, no-one would be so outright stupid, as to invest such a sizeable amount of money, not to mention personal risk, with no thoughts of reaping some kind of future rewards?

I think 3ll3 report is misleading and deceitful.
If you read his message, you will see that he does not mention actually freeing any slaves, such is merely suggested by the phrasing.
It is my estimation that 3ll3 simply operated a charity passenger liner service for already freed slaves looking to start a new life. No Amarr laws are broken by organizing or funding such a transport. People simply 'showed up at his hangar doors' which suggest to me that he has offered a sum of isk to any former slave wanting to make use of his charity passenger service. No 'liberation' of any kind was involved.
As for 3ll3's claim of acquiring residential estates for these people at great personal cost, I would appreciate some shred of proof for this claim.
3ll3, I would appreciate it you can clarify these matters and explain to the dim-witted and ignorant people here that you are not the great liberator of men they think, but simply a wily fraud.

I believe that in all of us there is the same kindness and caring for others over your own safety and needs in every one even in the most lowest and fallen of people.
For me Isk doesnÆt make me happy itÆs the joy and happiness of others, to see the gentle smile of a child as they are reunited with their families once more or a mother scooping up her child and holding them in a maternal embrace that is my reward that is my thanks Ms Duskspace.

Mr. 3ll3, then you are indeed as foolish as your supposed endeavour would suggest. Wether you're doing this out of a great plan to for some reason earn the less than intellegent public's love, or just out of your own foolish ideals, still puzzles me somewhat... but to be honest, I find even your reasonings here deeply disturbing.
Mercy is a sign of weakness, Mr. 3ll3, and your supposed show of such will earn you nothing but a note as an easy target. And in case you're wondering... nothing warms my heart like seeing the mauled hull of a vessel erupt in a bright explosion as my torpedo impacts with it's powercore...

I did not mention hate, I did not mention mockery, I did not mention mistrust. I simply pointed out obvious omissions in your story.
Of course, you can try to draw attention away from my reasonable question by throwing a tantrum, but I'm not that easily distracted. The questions still stand:
1. Can you please clarify if you freed the mentioned former slaves yourself?
2. Can you please provide some evidence of the substantial amount of isk you paid acquiring a residence for the transported people?

There's not a lot of profit in attacking passenger transports... Unless you're just killing for the sake of it. But then, attacking defenseless ships can be construed as a sign of weakness too, wouldn't you agree?
As for Mr. 3ll3. The very fact that you make a public announcement on Gal-Net regarding this action shows that you may want just a hint of recognition or personal glory for yourself... Not entirely selfless hmm...

why, indeed... my CEO does appear to be caldari. but to be honest, I do prefer to put some more... feeling... into the kill. As for those who thinks preying on the defenceless is a sign of weakness, that is what'll be their undoing, when next they underestimate a pilot, just because he or she happned to be an oppertunist.

Although freeing slaves can rank one up there as a tribal hero in many circles, just as important is providing material support for them to establish themselves.
I have no doubt that 3ll3 is receiving the reward he seeks-- recognition, and more than likely adulation from those he helped to escape their condition. Philanthropy often is done for the purpose of marketing and self-promotion. That does not negate its impact upon the beneficiaries.
Bluntly, ISK is in large part meaningless for us. Some of us can generate more profit in an hour of mining than many workers planetside earn in a year. I think a lot of pilots forget their sheer economic clout-- why the shipbuilders have given us their latest and greatest military vessel designs, why we are essentially above the law. And why the one law that is upheld for us is attacking one another in space.
What you have done, 3ll3, is a great service that while perhaps not singular in nature is nonetheless something that will positively impact not just the twenty thousand civilians but their families and clans.
How many among us have taken on and helped become established anywhere near this number of homeless or former slaves?
Thank you for helping those used as tools of propaganda to be human again.

Mr/Ms Yttrites, forgive me for not knowing your gender your Image to the left is blank and not knowing much with the culture name wise with Minmatar unable to ascertain your gender, for this I am so sorry for any offence given to you.
I wish to thank you and agree with what you are saying as well as add to it by saying that nit isn't just a quick one off payment because you still need many months some times years before the individuals are ale to support them selves.
